Saints team had plenty of trialists so I'm lead to believe.

Yes, it was a very young side, but this thread is for the whole season for the Under 20's & this game was billed as u20's.

Today's team was......

St Mirren (1st half): Hughes K, Williams, Stewart, Hughes D, Thomson, Kitchen, Scully, Mallan, McDonald, McLear, Scullion.

St Mirren (2nd half): Hughes K, Heather, Thomson, Hughes D, Cuddihy, McMillan, Chijuoke, Baird, Kitchen (Murray 66), McLear (Beattie 66), Morgan.

Is 'Kitchen' Alex Kitchen of Newcastle?

Shares the same agent as Newton and Dummett and was responding to good luck messages yesterday on Twitter...

Dont know if its just me but our under 20's look as if they need to all put on some weight if they are wanting to breakthrough. All the players seem slightly built whereas younger players coming through at other teams look like adults , not wee boys . John Mc Ginn proves me wrong but are any others physically ready?
