We have played reasonably well today, but could be a lot better. Newton through on goal and electing not to shoot, the penalty that never was two chances vs Motherwell's goal and the cross that went across the goal... Even match. Motherwell not sauntering. Simply have a bit more luck from not having crippling lack of confidence. 1 goal, crowd behind team and 'anything could happen'… So let me get this straight. No home wins in nearly 7 months, 1 league win in the same time frame - and that was a meaningless end of season kick about - out of the cup already and lost 4 games out of 5 this season and wait for it... Tynecastle on the 5th Oct looks an absolutely MASSIVE game and our players had better be ready to fight for that as they sure as hell will.
