oaksoft
I'm scared, nuclear weapons are going to hurt me, what a lot of shite! Next scary story? Scaremongering, aye you're right enough. Oh, lol ;) FFS it's a bit early for downing sherry isn't it? Put the bottle down.
bluto
It's the "I'm alright jack" attitude that has awful Britain in the state it's in, broken according to none other than the leader of the I'm alright jack party. Man mind thyself and every man for himself has morally bankrupted this land and I for one am sick of it. So to get over your sickness, you want to vote for an I'm alright Jock society...? Broken logic.
salmonbuddie
No, he wants to vote for a "We're a' Jock Tamson's bairns" society where we look after each other, as opposed to the "I'm alright, Jack" society that we've had for 35 years now. Time for change, and if rUK won't change then at least we can, and set the example for them to (hopefully) follow. buddiecat
We are going round in circles here I have written many times how much wealth the west cost of Scotland has in oil and gas which will only be develovped in the event of a yes vote. It will bring thousands of jobs. Put money into peoples pockets in turn spending money creating further jobs. Why anyone would vote NO to keep these nuclear weapons which are based next to the central belt population is beyond me. No country in the world has its nuclear weapons next to large populations absolutely none. Most of Scotland's population would wiped out if one ever went off or if ever it was attacked. Too many scots do not give this enough thought. That in it's self should be enough for every Scot to vote yes i keep hearing and reading about the potential of west coast oil and gas,can anyone tell me why this is not put forward by mr salmond and ms sturgeon as a vote winner ? is it because they know different,

Are you suggesting that there isn't oil in the Clyde, Kintore and Irish sea areas? of course i'm not suggesting that,i'm questioning why this is not put forward more strongly by the snp,as in do they know that oil companies dont want to explore the area now or in the future. Guest TPAFKATS
Cameron keeps telling us that it's a decision for the Scottish people so why is he asking large companies to get involved?
Ayrshire Saints
So to get over your sickness, you want to vote for an I'm alright Jock society...? Broken logic. All I'm looking for as an opportunity, a chance to make things better. Plenty seem entirely happy with the status quo but If the Prime Minister himself admits Britain is broken and clearly he can't fix it then I think we have to look elsewhere. Yes it's a risk, a gamble but in my eyes it's our only choice as Scotland will never improve under successive Tory governments who dont give a shit about anywher North of Birmingham and only became involved seriously in this campaign with 2 weeks to go when they realised there is a very real chance they might lose their precious union. buddiecat
Cameron keeps telling us that it's a decision for the Scottish people so why is he asking large companies to get involved? he's obviously concerned about losing something,or will be unable to fulfil his promises to them.much the same as any leader of an independent scotland would also be concerned, because governments need businesses to keep them in power,mr salmond had a late night in a glasgow casino this week, deep in discussion with chinese businessmen, and i'd suspect that the large companies actually told mr cameron that they needed to be involved because i dont think they dance to his tune as much as he does to theirs

RickMcD
Good one Rick, it's the way you tell 'em! More than can be said for you. It's scaremongering when No says something you regard as negative but it's unquestionably true when Yes repeats it's empty promises backed up by .... well, f**k all. Just curious. Typical Yes man attitude that Scotsmen who live elsewhere but still love their native country have no right to an opinion. Control Scotland? Even by your low standards that a pretty stupid remark. Why would I be taking Ian Paisley's death 'quite bad'?. I assume you mean quite badly. I'm a typical Yes man who's always said your opinion does count? Check my posts again, I've always said it, every time, your view is important and you're entitled to it. You're not entitled to a vote, you've chosen to live elsewhere, but you are entitled to say your piece.
