Guest TPAFKATS
It's kind of cute in another worldly naive way how the Conservatives are catching it here at the moment. Most party conference seasons pass with virtually no comment on here. What's different about this year? Oops, I forgot. Hell hath no fury like a Scottish Nationalist scorned. Poor sad losers.I'm not a Scottish Nationalist. Is it cute to see those who claim to support labour and who claim to be socialists defending the Tories? As others point out, the upsurge in political awareness should be encouraged and politicians held to account. Westminster used to claim voter apathy was the issue, now they fear 'the mob'. I didn't say Scottish Nationalist Party. Let's see how long this newfound fervour lasts before apathy sets in again. I agree that 'the mob' was on show recently. Incidentally, I have never voted in a UK general election.

E=Mc2
do you accept then that he did say he would scrap the human rights act? What he says and what Parliament will allow him to do can be two different things. As Prime Minister he wanted to send our forces into Syria and Parliament said no. Those we elect to look after our interests should look after our interests or we can vote them out.

I hope that the newfound fervour lasts, although judging by your apathy I guess we differ? Who are you agreeing with regarding the mob? I didn't say in any sense that you personally were a Scot Nat. Just that you sided with the no hopers. I told you at the beginning, and in the middle and at the end when you were all creaming yourselves that you were f**ked. You couldn't see the leaves from the trees. You could never convince the majority of Scots. Anyone with even a basic knowledge of economics could see how quickly the SNP's crazy policy would hit the buffers. But you still don't see it. Look back at the posts. I said 'I didn't say Scottish Nationalist Party' because I didn't suggest that you were a member of the eejit party. I was letting you off the hook. I know well the name of the party. But you all losers anyway. And bad losers. You still can't shut up. The Scottish majority spoke but I realise that a democratic decision for nationalists is very difficult to take on board. It was always so.

iTony
I'm loving how the people who were strongly in favour of the "Yes Campaign" are coping with the result of last month's Referendum. They just can't let it go. I've already said my peace about coming on here if the majority had gone with "Yes" to say well done to the "Yes" Men and Women on here - I genuinely would have done this and yet, even although people on the side of independence said they would accept the result graciously if they lost the Referendum they are doing the exact opposite. I noticed that Tony S posted "We are not going away" - I seen a saltire with these words in red written on it in someone's window recently. Is this their way of accepting the result of the Referendum "graciously"? If you had won and someone had put a Union Flag in their window with the words "We are not going away" would I have noticed that their window had also been smashed? The Referendum is over. We live in a Country where we are fortunate to have the right to vote in Elections and Referendums. Some people in certain countries don't as we all know. We are democratic in our way of doing things and the majority spoke last month. If you really can't handle it or feel that your fellow countrymen/women let you down and are "traitors" - as some of you like to put it - then maybe you should either move away from a country you can't stand or grow a pair and accept the result. I'm probably wasting my time saying that as extremists just don't do freedom of speech and democracy. Guest TPAFKATS
Yes the referendum is over. I don't think anyone is denying that. Mibees time to close that thread. You have noticed this isn't a thread about the referendum? It's not a thread for your cod German musings either but hey you seem obsessed with both... iTony
Anyway Tony S, this thread is relevant to the Referendum thread because you created this thread whilst still suffering from the independence loss as Rick McD has already pointed out. You would have been better just posting the stuff about the Conservatives in the Referendum thread instead of creating a new one just to have a go at them! I'm not even a Conservative voter but I am enjoying "Yes" men and women like yourself gnashing their teeth and spitting feathers about them. I'm glad I chose "Better Together" and not your lot - "Bitter Together"...

PS - We're not going away... I opted out of the referendum thread before the vote. I haven't posted on it since and never on any thread gloated. I eventually posted on this one after a fortnight of listening to you and your like crying like babies every day and bemoaning the fact that you were virtually cheated. I felt there was nothing to gloat over anyway. Yes was never going to win. End of. Can you all now just shut up and get on with life. Lighten up a bit and stop behaving like spoiled children. Remind me again of our rights in a democracy? Presumably you don't really need reminded of your rights but anyway you may of course continue to support whoever the hell you like. (Even R**gers?) The general election is set for the 7th.of May next year. Could we not have a break until then? Alternatively, someone could start a thread entitled 'All The Political Shite In Here' so those of us who don't want to read it can avoid it. It seems to pop up all over the shop.
