Rangers not playing to the same level they have in the last three matches in this cup, off the boil, slack and a tad lucky this lot haven't scored another. The manager will need to get them fired up at half time. 1-0, 30 mins.

faraway saint
Red Star 2-1 Rangers, been a disappointing game, both teams certainly haven't matched last weeks standard. Rangers through to the last eight, fairly comfortable over the two games. Draw tomorrow.
faraway saint
Reasonable draw for Rangers, Portugal's Braga, currently sitting 4th in the Portuguese league, a long way from third. Won't be easy, unlikely to be any mugs left at this stage. If Rangers get through the winner of the Leipzig v Atalanta are next up.

StanleySaint
Ok just looked may have overstated the cliff face bit but one end has the scoreboard halfway up the hillside that is higher than the stands.

They've been woefull since they got promoted, last season they mostly outscored other teams. Two wins on the trot, as I said, at this early stage that justifies the change of manager. Going to be close but with the new manager, who I rate, they should be safe. Interesting to see how they get on next season.

At the same time, Wolves were all over the place in defence, a shambles.
faraway saint
Villa 0-1 Arsenal, away team been the better side, Villa huff/puff but not really threatened the Arsenal goal. Wee McGinn booked for knocking Lacazette on his arse.

faraway saint
Dundee 1-0 Rangers, nice goal, funny how we rarely really have a go at any of the Old Firm? Anyhow, 6 mins.
Rascal
Dundee still 1-0 up as the Toilet Roll and Tennis Ball throwers miss a SOFT penalty that was missed

StanleySaint
Watching Crystal Palace against Everton and 2 nil to Palace currently, more evidence thst just because you played at the highest level you're not automatically a football manager, Everton are honking. Everton have been honking all season. I've a couple of Everton supporting mates and they, over the last few seasons, are sick fed up with the panic appointments of managers. StanleySaint
3 nil now, I still think they might yet find themselves very close to relegation!
Rascal
Rangers fight back in the second half to take the points although the game will be mostly remembered for the stoppages caused by Rangers fans throwing toilet rolls and tennis balls onto the pitch. Were the toilet rolls a comment on the team’s first half performance?

No doubt they are in the bunch of teams that could easily go down, a "surprise" win against Newcastle last week has been the only win for ages. With Leeds picking up, and they're not out of it yet either, it's going to be a nervy end to the season for a few teams.
