woiiftm
Club please take note. This was not a pleasant experience and I am not referring to our performance. Responses were made in reaction to foul language to no avail. Stewards on hearing foul language only looked in general direction, not able to identify specific culprits and not even moving from seat to signify it had been heard. We will lose children and their parents from games as parents will not tolerate this. Aggressive tone and manner of support made it very uncomfortable, particularly in West section, where we were well outnumbered and isolated amongst them as a result of free for all seating adopted by them. This may be ok against teams like Spartans whose fans number in 10's, here we are talking over 100 vociferous, reactive fans. My daughter even commented on how bad it was and that it felt threatening. No more mixing of fans, use North stand or we'll lose kids and parents What and Who matters most to this Club ? I've also put this on official site in hope that someone with clout might see it and ensure there is no repetition.
Kemp
Was the stand completely mixed with no segregation?
Drew
I asked to be moved before KO having bought a ticket in order to meet up with a mate. The steward I spoke to was very helpful, as was the supervisor who escorted us round to the West Stand. Seemingly, it was a cost saving exercise. Rather than tape off and steward a separate section, they opted to let away fans into any part of the stand. Daft idea, as the away fans don't know the etiquette of the Family Stand (let's face it, some home fans still struggle to grasp it). I simply didn't fancy it, and told the steward as much. Consider it a failed experiment, that certainly should not be repeated. Edited July 19, 2017 by Drew

shull
We should give it another go with the Section B next week.
Russian Saint
To be honest, I didn't notice any bad language from the Livi fans (I was sitting in normal seats next to the camera stand, main stand side)I do however regularly hear a few f**ks being fired by Saints fans at most matches, despite there being a lot of kids present. flyingscot
Family stand was an odd choice given away fans are most hardcore of a teams support. I know family stand for night games is usually quiet so I'm guessing they banked on that. Don't think the Livi fans liked it either. This shows the issue in not having a suitable section within home stands where we are able to section off small away supports rather than waste money opening stands. Sure the west stand has segregation but as the busiest home stand then makes the other facilities congested. Is there a section of the main stand we could have given Livi in and mixed facilities? M1? I thought the main stand couldn't be split between home and away fans due to an inability to split toilet / catering facilities.
notabuddie
The only stand that has segregation is the West. So unless the club open the away stand there will be a mix of fans either in the family stand or main stand.
shull
The whole of the Away Stand doesn't need to be opened especially not for Livy, Airdrie United , Brechin or Dumbarton fans. Either End Section would be sufficient. With a couple of Stewards supervising.
Guest TPAFKATS
I think facilities for main stand are basically split left and right of the tunnel, so it would need to be half n half which would affect an awfy lot of season tickets
pozbaird
Shame we hit the 1000 ST target. Damn that two-lavvy carrot.

No, but if we are going to sling 100 odd fans into a home stand, I'd have thought the main stand to the south would be the best section rather than the family stand. Just have to share pie stalls and toilets. 4 minutes ago, pozbaird said: Shame we hit the 1000 ST target. Damn that two-lavvy carrot. I wouldn't be surprised if it is segregated for Airdrie. Kemp
The Away Stand was still there last I checked. Surely doesn't cost a fortune to stick a few stewards on to look after 100 Livingston fans?

pod
Just get them to stand in a corner between stands. Problem solved. Catering and toilets provided... Edited July 19, 2017 by pod
