garzo got a reaction from Obi-Wan Ben Kenobi in Possible New Ticketing Initiative
great idea drew, i can see it working.
I'd go as far as issuing cards instead of tickets at the window next time.
Then the recipient can register it when they go home if they want to, or if your an older person without access or pc skills just bring it along and have it swiped any time instead of collecting a ticket,
Tickets will then be minimal.

Without senior Scottish government approval the current funding stream will not be available.
Unless there is another way I think this means the CIC is not viable.

garzo got a reaction from davidg in SMiSA agree to contribute £50k to 10000 Hours CIC with conditions
“The money was originally raised with the aim of helping the membership buy shares in St Mirren itself and, while Mr Atkinson’s plans are not what was originally intended, the money will still go toward aiding the broader cause, which is benefiting St Mirren.
bollocks.
Its a lot of dosh going towards debt repayment.
Where is the direct benefit to St Mirren?
-
garzo got a reaction from dardo in 1ST CIC SCENARIO
read carefully please
never said St Mirren were not mentioned - I said mission - no mission for St Mirren
its all about the CIC, its all about the community, the club(football team) in my opinion will be secondary
-
garzo got a reaction from pozbaird in The Club Buy Out - 10000 Hours
its all about risk and there is a risk that members will lose interest, drop out, not renew and the finance may not be there to sustain the CIC,
e.g. 2 businesses sign up for year 1 but drop out after year 1 and no others take their place - entirely possible?
resonable to ask what are optioins in this scenario.
A new payment plan to extend debt may result in no extra investment ever in the football side of the model
i would like to know about this
