Refreshing loyalty to his club though. Rare these days. 

I said on here after his first game , that Connolly clearly had pace but that was it  , he was a headless chicken. Sure he had his moments , but they were few and far between. If  we bring someone in who can provide some decent crosses , then that will be an instant improvement !

Not fussed with this in the slightest , yes he had pace but what’s the use of pace if you constantly run into cul de sacs or can’t cross. ? 
 
we can and will improve on Connolly fairly easily .  

In fairness i thought the young lad Finlayson played well.

When Durmus arrived I wasn't convinced he was any good, if he didn't beat his man with his first couple of attempts his confidence dropped and he didn't want the ball. Fair play to him, he has become a very important addition to the squad. I don't like him as much on the right or in the wing back role but he's done well regardless of where he has been asked to play. I really hope we can keep him.

Helps when we go to a flat back four.
IMO we've got one of the best back four in the league.
JG should stop fucking around with it, as we are usually a much better team with a back four.

When they go quiet and talks stall it never ends well. I think Cammy can do the same type of job. I would extend his contract. 

Put McPherson in team now if he can get something better fine but he is not using my club as a last resort thanks Jake for your contribution and goodbye Cammy is every bit as good a player

I agree... and to be honest, I wrote him off. Still not convinced - however - plaudits for his performance Today! 

Cammy could be the boy to make a difference here if he is on top of his game

Marcus Fraser has been excellent today. Great defensively and a few mazy runs.

Wonder if it is worth moving Ethan to the right side of the middle, he is so one footed that if he can't play it forward immediately he inevitably has to pass it backwards which puts pressure on the defence.

Slagging off a Hamilton Accies player who likes like he's a regular at the Sheriff Court is fair game, slagging off one of our female stewards is not.

He’s a good player but not irreplaceable. 
Cammy came on Saturday and had one of his better performances, actually arguably played better that JDH... if he can do this consistently then I’m not worried about losing JDH. 

Jamie McGrath is a bigger loss in the current climate than JDH.

Looking at the squad we are now definitely light in numbers owing to the recent injuries some long term hopefully Jim is looking at out of contract players who have just been released.In January we lost three and only brought in two.One player up for grabs is Ravel Morrison 28 year old attacking midfielder.Ravel started at Man U and has been at at few clubs most recently with Dutch club might be worth a try short term.

Thought Macpherson played well when he came on.

It's days like this that Goodwin deserves real praise.
Not when we win on penalties against diddy teams in the league cup group stage, a real victory against a team that has more resources than wee could dream about.
Aye, I've been critical, which was realistic at that time, and now the praise is real.
