I don't get you Top Cat. Unless you or your close friends are members of our BOD then your stance and defence of them just don't make any sense. And as you were attempting to speak for thousands of Saints fans by suggesting they couldn't name the BOD or care about what's going on in the boardroom, the arrogance was oozing from your pours. Of course the fans are interested in how their club is run. Just take a look at the Saints for Sale threads. I wouldn't want to see SG run onto the park! That's just to much work for him!!
The board say they are tired, poor them. We're all tired, tired of the lack of enthusiasm and direction. Stale,stale,stale. We are a community club and should expect the board to stay in touch with the fans, through good times and bad. If they cant, they should chuck it.

This crew have been given an easy ride by many for far too long.
Their stewardship of our club in recent years has been shambolic at best, and verging on negligent.
They could have sold their shares to Gordon Scott - a Mirren supporter - but opted to sit it out for more money. How has that gone?

So because of their lack of effort, we will find ourseves in a lower division. How many years will we struggle in that division? The VERY LEAST our board should be saying is rallying the support in this important run in. Possibly even lower the home prices. ANYTHING but the silence people like yourself are prepared to accept.

You do realize the club drops in value when relegated so the board lose out on a cash return ( if they sell ) So yes I can just see the board making plans so they lose as much money as possible on there return.

Fitzpatrick was basically in charge of kids when was sacked. He had us 5th in a league that was very competitive. We weren't great but our team was v v inexperienced. Tony in the dugout helping Gary would be better than what we have at present which is two guys in the dugout neither with any experience at all.

I can releate to that. It's a real shame that all the great work this BOD have done for the club over the years is being tarnished by the way it's all ending.
I've no idea if relegation will expedite the sale of the club or make it even harder to sell, but it needs to be moved on as soon as possible as the general feeling of malaise among hardcore supporters is running very deep. When you stop enjoying going to the football and start dreading it then something is far wrong.
