A fit Dargo would have scored plenty with us but was physically broken. When he did play, he was excellent and was probably a step ahead of many of the ponderous players in that Gus team. 
Wyness was finished when he came to us and had been for a few years. He was also never exactlyvprolific as a top flight footballer. The Lawrence Shankland of his day. 
Incidentally, Brophy has only racked up 600 minutes so far this season and scored 3 goals. That's half the minutes of the much loved Shankland and the same goals return. Yet Shankland is still heralded as lethal. I'd gave Brophy, who has proven he scores goals at this level, ahead of Shankland any day. 

At no point in the match did I feel we were getting schooled by Rangers a team that cost multiple millions of times the cost of our current team. I thought we competed very well and came close to scoring a number of times. We lack the composure of a Roofe or Morelos but then we cannot afford the likes of them. At the end Dennis had 2 shots blocked also so for me on a different day we could have at least scored one and had enough chances to at least draw,

This season is the first where I have seen us compete in almost every game and have thought before each match that this game is winnable instead of hoping for a draw or low score loss.

Connolly is causing them problems, some poor passing but Rangers are very good at pressing and moving the ball, mind you they should be the cost of their team and their yearly losses bigger than out budget

We need to get better at finishing, game should be over already if we could take chances. Connolly has been very good so far as have most if not all of the team
