I've thought Naismith has been very poor for most games so far. Too often he loses his man and one of the centre halfs have had to come across and cover, and then there's the occasions when he and Cheesy have both ended up going for the same ball.

I suspect a loan for equity swap might be in the offing here, alternatively underwrite the debts against assets as a penalty. Basically see what uptake there is from the fans on the share deal, if fully subscribed then pay off loans, if not fully subscribed either offer loans to be redeemed against an increased holding at the 20p per share price or re-finance loans against the car park or whatever else they can.

Not only have many appearances been off the bench - they've been for Hibs. A club seemingly determined to tear itself apart from the inside.
Hopefully with a fresh start at St Mirren he can show people what he can do. I haven't a clue what he can do, I haven't seen nearly enough of the lad - but Tommy, Gary, and Jim have run the rule over him, so that's good enough for me.
New arrival. Clean slate. Fair go.
Anyone not willing to give him a fair go needs a look at themselves.

I think United do a brilliant job of marketing their younger players, way better than us. They have a pedigree of producing good youngsters and selling them on, that I think makes it easier to ask for the bigger money for players like Gauld...it's a conveyor belt of talent (much like Crewe were viewed as in the English game for years).
McGinn and McLean are really good players and on a par ability wise with Gauld currently, but I think Gauld has more potential than both though. Glad that for once a young Scottish player is not viewing the Old Firm as the pinnacle of footballing achievement.
For us we need to start off selling some players and get a reputation as a club that is good at spotting and nuturing talent. Once we've done that the bigger money offers will come for the next crop.

was listening to Radio Scotland today on the way to the train, they were talking about him too... apparently the reason he wasn't shot wasn't down to the bagpipes specifically... but the fact that the Germans snipers believing it bad luck to shoot someone insane. Let's be honest to play the bagpipes wearing a kilt on a beach when bombs, bullets, and mortar shells are landing around you... you can see where the Germans were coming from.

PA1 is a very mixed bag of addresses... Covers most of the town centre, upto the edge of the West End, Mill Street and all of Seedhill, from the Cathedral upto the Railway line all the way out Glasgow Road, from Arkleston and Hawkhead all the way to the Glasgow boundary.
The reason that the insurers will want to look at each on PA1 is to determine which street. There is no doubt that those on the North Side of Glasgow Road, and those anywhere East of Arkleston/Hawkhead Roads, are in the lowest risk categories... the rest is pretty mixed and too difficult to categorise in one grouping.
Oh and I'm in Whitehaugh too.. **waves to Miss Saint's granny**

I would rather have seen him stay for another season, but if he's gone , he's gone. However, I noted in the BoD's statement they praised DL for his "professionalism and the dignified way he has carried out his duties". Pity the Board didn't act the same way in recent weeks.

I'd want to bring him before the board, before they discuss his future, to hear what his view on the targets for next season were, what his learnings from this season were, what he expects from the club in terms of squad size, his plans for youth development i.e. who is ready to step up, who he would want retained.
Probably loads more I'd like answered. Basically I'd like the board to treat it like a cross between interview and performance appraisal. Once that's done I'd be in a better position to make a decision.
For me at this moment in time I find it difficult to identify another candidate that isn't a big gamble or would jar with the board's approach.

Be nice to open it up to both sets of supporters by letting the Jambos remember their own too... but a lovely gesture that many will appreciate.
