Quick question about gate receipts etc. If you draw a colt side I assume that there is still a split of the gate? If so I'm out, don't mind drawing an non-league, Irish or Welsh side as quite like the idea of different competition from normal (and EK and TNS were that for me), but not happy with helping development of "big" clubs youth players in a tournament they are not supposed to be in and then also sharing revenue with them for the privilege.

Didn't we renew his contract when he was still in rehab from his first cruciate?

We should be playing for corners in every game as any combination of centre halves carries a goal threat in this squad.

Might be some being worn in Limassol next week. Apparently a number of them had pre-booked a trip there thinking they were through after the 1st leg

Given he was hitting free-kicks on Tuesday he'll have more opportunities for goals.

Think it is a BMW i8. It's the same as the one that the Leicester City Chairman bought one for each of the squad when they won the EPL. Perhaps he's bringing it to the club so Fitzy can offer it as an incentive for when we win the Champions League?

Pains me to say I like the Harry Styles single and I'm going to have a listen to the album too. Saw the Beth Ditto yesterday when I was in HMV, but ended up buying some of the sale stuff instead (picked up Foo Fighters, Travis, Kaiser Chiefs, and Killers).  Got the soundtrack for Baby Driver on pre-order too as saw the preview and the music was brilliant and so varied.

Could it not be extended to do an all club programme fair? By all means have a table there that specialises on St Mirren with proceeds going to do something specific to the club, but you could have other traders etc booking a table.

It is the one life lesson I took from living in Millport as a teenager and travelling to school in Largs daily... always make sure you take a spare change of underwear in hand luggage. We always did that as when the boats went off due to high winds you had to hope you got to the terminal in time as you could be stuck overnight.

If the Bank of Gary Mac is just as generous next season a fair few season tickets will be paid for over the season.

I always took the view that we would take around 10 years to see a return on then investment into the Ralston training facility in terms of players breaking into the first team on a regular basis, but we are well ahead of the where I would have expected us to have been as we've not just brought squad fillers through, but bona fide first team players.
Equally on the financial side we've recouped a good chunk of the initial investment, accepting that it has needed and still does need more spent on it, and if McGinn does move on for a good seven figure sum we are more than broke even on investment.
As Div says above when families looking at options for their players we are in a great position for the West of Scotland to say that any youngster in our setup gets all the opportunities to establish a good career for themselves and make it far as a footballer.
My only grumbles are that we seem to have an ability to churn out technical midfielders by the bucket load, but defenders are few and far between, and strikers are non existent.
