I similarly have no knowledge about the truth behind Sir Alex of Ferguson's departure, nor do I now care about the manner of Ian Ferguson's departure to TCFKAR.
Point being - thanks to Lee Mair, like the others mentioned above, for the good times, for being part of the good times, for your contribution to the good times.

I like Kenneth to be honest. He's only 26 and is the sort of massive bullying centre half that I personally think we have lacked for about a million years.
Either way, popular opinion before Mair left was that we needed another centre half. Now it's beyond doubt. We absolutely 100% need one.
I will be astounded if we don't have someone lined up.

Two seasons ago we were playing some of the best football I have ever seen. Not only that we had our highest top league finish in about 20 odd years.
It was fantastic and sure we made mistakes and got punished but that was Danny's philosophy his way he feels the game should be played. I agreed and bought into that.
Start of 2012/13 season Danny comes out and says we are developing a different method of play (direct to Thommo) to be able to mix it up when needed. We start the season the same way we finished the 2011 season and we have a couple of bad results a minority of fans moaning about our passing strategy wanting more urgency. Then all of a sudden we are playing the style of football Gus had us playing and Danny did in his first season. Rubbish
Now we are season and a half on and despite the change of style we are worse off in league position and entertainment.
So Danny if this to be your last season with us please revert to season 2 philosophy and get back to the patient, possession passing football that we had and if we end up in the playoffs then so be it we gave it a go and did it with style. It was successful for us two seasons ago it can be now?

We didn't play well today especially in the second half. So, you think, as the half wore on, well, not to worry maybe the sub/subs will shake things up a bit because the game really needs subs and you begin to contemplate who isn't playing well...? For me it was as clear as daylight - Newton needed to come off!

Just when you think Danny is getting it right, He baffles everybody by his tactics and subs today, he cost us two points today, We were absolutely dismal in the 2nd half, How Conor Newton played the full 90 mins is beyond me, I think he is a good player but he had a mare today, Wev will need to play a lot better v Killie,

I saw exactly what you saw. It is Jim's character and although at specific times a liability (see/hear DL's comments about sticking or twisting when Goodwin is on a yellow from Radio Scotland post match interview) his commitment and drive make a massive difference when the team plays. We were miles better in the first half largely due to his performance. Dogged defending and an excellent performance from Kello kept us in the game, then came their bad tackle and the game was over due to us reasserting ourselves late in the second half.Dundee Utd are a very good side. Yes they are light weight and I would argue there are two ways of beating them: out muscling or out playing them. Yesterday we did both in the first half, both thanks to Jim Goodwin. In the second half we defensively played very well but it took the sending off to readdress the balance of the game (with all due respect to DVZ) because our captain was rightly subbed.
Goodwin needs to keep the commitment and passion, but just be a little bit more cute when it comes to ensuring our creative players can play. I think more teams will target him as he has the potential to get sent off, but I wouldn't swap him for anyone on yesterday's performance.

I actually think folk are looking too deeply into this. McGowan on a night oot. McGowan gets p!ssed. Police stop him and ask him whatever. McGowan gets cheeky. Police think, "Let's teach this little w@nk a lesson." McGowan retaliates. Police then, quite honestly, say he assaulted them. Two wrongs make them right. That's the way of the world nowadays. Somebody needs to be believed and Gowser didn't have proof.
The lesson to be learned is Paul needs a minicam and a better attitude. Hope the polis and the judge think the fear of incarceration is enough and a suspended sentence is doled out.

The best decision from a ref in along time .He never let Collins feeble attempt at trying to get a penalty sway him .I f**king hate that about the modern game touch someone and down they go as if they had been shot thought it was a great decision from the Ref.
