Well, well, aren't they such a nice bunch of people, so willing to forgive this act af needless aggression ?
Or maybe they want to minimise the length of Hamill's suspension because Hearts still have to play the other four clubs in the bottom 6.

It's a fine line betwixt 7th and 11th , we're down amongst the dead men yet we have arguably the best two young midfielders in Scotland in our side. We are underperforming on a regular basis and the finger is pointing at Danny !

Like any spl manager, their hands are tied by their budget. The bottom line is that the manager picks the players he wants and will fit within his budget
Brian Caldwell will probably do the majority of the contract negotiations but there is no way he will pick the players
That is the mangers responsibility and that is where the current manager has made a bit of a mess of things.
Some very decent players in the squad but the squad as a whole is misbalanced especially defensively

Hibs recent slump has brought them right into the mix for the play-off spot. It has been widely reported that they have won only once in the league since they defeated Hearts on 02 January (vs Ross County at Easter Road). How does that compare to the others in the bottom 6 since 02 January ? Looking at the league table from back then Hibs were actually in 6th place above St Johnstone. In the fixtures that have taken place since then here is how the form has worked out i.e. points and goal difference :-
Ross County 17 points and (+1 gd)
Partick 15 (-3)
Hearts 15 (-5)
Killie 12 (-8)
St Mirren 11 (-11)
Hibs 7 (-15)
On that evidence you could argue that ourselves, Hibs and Killie appear to be in bigger danger than Ross County or Partick.

My puerile contribution was not intended to offend. Sadly Bob Geldof's life has been punctuated by tragedies and now two young children have been left without their mother. Nonetheless if you look back at most of the "So Farewell Then ...." genre of threads on B&W Army you will find them peppered with puns and attempts at black humour with no offence intended. For some reason, presumably the young age of the deceased, it is offensive this time around. A lesson learned by me, some deaths are ok to throw humour at (maybe old or middle-aged people)and others are not.

They probably didn't focus on the offside first goal because no Motherwell players were offside. One thump up the park caught our defenders flat in a line looking at one another while Ainsworth and Anier strode on. I am pretty sure that Vigors was in an offside position across at the main stand side corner flag when he was involved in the build-up to their second goal (before they got 5 or 6 breaks of the ball).

anyone wanting to have total control of the club, as it would seem the 75% will give them, is up to no good. the only reason anyone would want this, as opposed to just the 52%, we can only assume that's because they know they are likely to get resistance for whatever plans they might haveI'm not even comfortable with one individual owning the 52%

I suppose yesterday's penalty decision will give Derek Adams another opportunity to mump in the tabloids about refs being anti-Ross County. Let's hope it's true, roll on more dodgy decisions coming in our favour.

I think Naismith is shaping up to become a big player for us. There is bound to be a clearout this summer, Naismith is one we could build a new team around.
