I'm pretty certain that no-one feels we have a divine right to remain in the top flight. What we can reasonably expect, however, is a bit of fight when it comes to clinging onto that status. Otherwise, what is the point?

I really can't believe I even need to ask this. But on what planet does Josh Magennis merit a start ahead of a lad who we've seen all of 4 times?
A 19 year old boy who we chased for 6 months and when we finally signed him, gave him 3 starts before relegating him to 5 minute cameos?
Magennis is a tried and tested failure in the SPFL. His performance tonight made the one which big Bahoken put in on his debut earlier in the season look like Maradona vs England in 1986.
Does anyone genuinely believe, apart from our management team that Josh Magennis merits anything other than a 5 minute time wasting sub appearance when Thompson is knackered?
On the other hand, in Campbell, We have a guy who has proven himself in his short time on the park to be potential game changer for us. A fast, direct, skillful option. Yet we insist on not playing him.

Massive result today. First half both team's were devoid of confidence but we took the game by the throat just as Killie were having their only decent spell in the game. Newton up to his goal was poor but what a finish, the boy has the ability it's all about confidence. Cheesy outstanding and the young full backs much better. McGennis great up to final product. Gowser still suffering a confidence crisis but did ok and McLean did fine against a honking Killie front line. We surely can finish above what has to be the poorest Killie team we have seen in the SPL. Without Boyd they would be gone already. We slag off EDD but Eremenko.... wtf he looks as if Sunday league would be a struggle !!!

Part of the problem from an informed debate point of view is that the complete lack of a decent Scottish politician in the no camp has forced Westminster into taking matters into their own hands and hence the London political big guns are doing what the likes of Lamont and co are incapable of. The SNP are miles ahead of Labour in Scotland when it comes to debating capability and Lamont seems to disappear further into the background with each passing day. I never expected London to keep to their "this is a Scottish issue" stance but I am surprised at just how involved the likes of Cameron and Darling are getting. Having said that it's hardly AS or NS's fault that the opposition in Scotland are so abject.

I would hardly describe the €1.22 and $1.67 as strong. Better than of late but not strong. Im firmly in the yes campaign but struggling to get my head round the insistence on keeping the pound. There simply has to be an alternative and it has to be brought to the table soon. A yes vote imo is for a clean break, a fresh start and I don't see retaining the uk currency as being viable in this respect. If we are lead to believe we can stand on our own 2 feet economically then we have to be able to support and be supported by our own currency. If this isnt possible and fiscal stability is only possible via retention of the existing UK currency then AS has backed his campaign into an impossible corner. I would like to think that they would at least have explored alternatives however I fear they probably have and the sums just don't add up. The longer we go with no alternative being offered up the more sceptical I become.
