Massive massive result today. One question. Can you appeal against a yellow card? By all accounts another very soft yellow card for Goodwin. Having a player at risk of a red card in every game would disrupt any team. Time to speak out.it's something our club rarely does but this is getting silly and it will cost us points. Back to the game, to go to Easter road and be up against butcher, who always seems to have Dannys card marked, and win is a terrific result. 3 goals away from home is some achievement. Let's celebrate this unexpected result. I love my team!!!!

First half was the best 45 minute performance I've seen in 20 years following the buds away from home.
Second half we were absolutely brutal. But who cares?
Certainly not me, we won 2-3. Tremendous stuff.

Vital vital win given how tight it is and we get away with what was supposed to be another stonewall hand ball pen but who cares and long may that continue. Any win at Easter Road is a great result regardless of how it was achieved. It's all 3 points at the end of the day. The beer in my hand tastes extra good tonight and roll on another huge game next week.

Lee , nice guy as he is , was never more than a squad player in my eyes , and I think some guys have forgotten about some of the nightmairs he had when he was making more appearances than he was this season. I hope he does play next week , as I'm sure we can exploit his weaknesses !

Aye there will be some super strikers up beside the jazz mags. Wylde has the right profile - the type of player well worth a punt. Still young and probably the last chance saloon at this level. The boy has pace and that alone makes you a danger in Scotland where pace is a sadly lacking commodity. Lets give him a good few games to settle in before making a judgement and as for the couple of roasters on his case on this thread already just piss off back to Ibrox - he walked away get over it !

So by definition Owen Coyle and Derek McInnes must be equally bad judges of a player then
Give it a rest for all our sakes your tiresome in the extreme.

That may well be true but having followed Saint Mirren to Belgium, France and Holland I'd love the chance to go to Europe following the Buds again (I'd probably have to take the kids this time though!!).

I would love it if we could sign him, not only is he a great player but this would have the Hearts fans in meltdown as we steal another one of their heroes.

Hearts pumped Aberdeen at Pittodrie earlier in the season but I don't remember the Dons feeling sorry for themselves and going on a losing run. This cycle of 5/6/7 defeats on the trot then a run of not losing has been a problem throughout Lennon's management. I cannot see why this pattern keeps repeating but it does. You would think within a squad you may have a few "confidence" players but we seem to have a full squad of them. We need to break this run either this week or most definitely v Thistle however how we get the result is not important we just have to break the losing run.
I think the club became obssessed with getting Campbell in and as a result we have missed out on other more proven strikers who had become available. We need to look beyond the Newcastle link up sometimes - there's thousands of players down South.
Sad as it may seem the rest of the season would now appear to be all about avoiding the play off spot. I honestly cannot see the fear of a possible relegation playoff as the ideal means to re-adopt a style of play that the other teams seemed to suss out quite quickly. All they needed to do was press their attacking players onto our back 4 and we would invariably give possession away. It's just another frustrating season when we should have been aiming for much better. Pointless sacking a guy who only has a contract to the end of the season as we have nothing left to aim for now bar avoiding the play off spot. Lets see the season out, avoid the play off and then start anew with a fresh management team who can bring with them fresh players and ideas (and please no more philosophies ffs).
