st jock reacted to Sonny in Billy O'Brien
From OS ....
Billy O’Brien says that avoiding the drop would be one of the greatest achievements in most of the players’ careers.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper, who is currently on loan from Manchester City, staying in the Ladbrokes Championship could be a highlight of the players’ entire careers because of what they have done to get from where they were in January to now having the chance to avoid the drop.
On a personal level, joining St Mirren during this tough period has been very beneficial for O’Brien’s development; however he admitted that it has been a worrying time.
The goalkeeper also commented on the importance of the fans and knows they will be out in force tomorrow to back the team.

st jock reacted to Kemp in Could we be losing Jack?
We will lose Jack Ross, but when that day comes it will be to a bigger club than Dundee.
GS offered Ross job security with us & made clear he will be our manager even if we end up League 1.
Go to Dundee for 6 games and get fired upon relegation? Not the most appealing option. If Bomber Brown hasn't been sectioned yet he will be back there leading the charge.

WTF...!
on a sparsely patronised Scottish championship football fans forum we are lead believe a multi bllion global concern have saw the need to contact Div (not the club they are putting money into) to shore up whatever they think needs shoring up, amd Div has taken it up the 'Ronson Lighter' to try and suppress any free speech on the subject...?
FFS Kenny if what you say hangs true, as a wholly independent and fully representative body of the support SMISA should be all over this unprecedenteded suppression of our society's values and principles.

The place - Falkirk Stadium. Who could forget this picture. JR had been injured and wasn't expected to play but he did and it was one of the games of his life.
2017 get yourselves to Falkirk and roar us to another 3 points. Hopefully we'll have another pic like this one.

Small kids, great idea, babies, not sure why anyone would take a baby to a fitba game.
Just my opinion.
Sorry I don't agree with you, I am allowed, I think.

st jock reacted to TopCat in Morton v St Mirren 11/4/17 (Cowshed Re-opening)
First of three tough away games on the bounce. Morton, Falkirk, then Dundee Utd. Think we are going to need 4 points from these three games after Saturdays disappointment. Out of the three, this is the one I feel we have most chance of winning.
We will need to play far better than we did at the weekend if we are going to get the win though. I would drop Loy for Sutton and start Todd instead of Stelios. Loy was poor again on Saturday and Stelios isn't a winger, if we are going to play him it has to be instead of Irvine at right back.
It's a big game for Morton aswell, this is their game in hand over Falkirk and if they beat us they will go back to second. Even still, I think we are going to do it for some reason, I have a feeling we are going to take big crowd down there and get a beautifully sneaky win.
0-1
Sutton '90 (+3)

st jock got a reaction from BaldyOzBud in St Mirren v Dumbarton Championship 8/4/17
For me it was a poor performance against a well-drilled side. A game we would have lost 3 months ago. We are off bottom with a game in hand. Stelios had 3 men on him everytime he had the ball and should slot back in to the full back slot on Tuesday. Hard to pick a motm for me as the team were pretty meh. Sutton won all his headers and possibly should have got the full second 45 mins. Mehhhh.

Dumbarton set up very defensively in every game , especially against the more attacking teams in this league.
cant fault them at all . Thought the sons were great today . We played OK in spells , but they were more than worthy of their point.
For me , they were the most organised team we've come up against. Well played .
