Freedom and free speech are rights that come with responsibility, because free-speech has the power to alienate and belittle.  If someone has misogynistic views then they should keep them tothemselves rather than trying to rally the other animals that agree with them, but because thay have these views they are not the sort of person to keep counsel or just be a little careful ariund what they say.
Telling unpleasant truths is often necessary and should be valued when the intention is to have a better debate.  To go out looking for things that you decide you disagree with, with the intention of attacking a person who you disagree with is actually pretty vile.
The trend now is to brand anyone with a moderate or even caring view as "woke" and people use the term freely without realising that the context they are using it in is unintentionally racist
As for GB news, i am afraid that they exist to further the reach and aims of extreme-right wingers who want to hijack the tory party as a way of gaining power.  They peddle untruths and only want to hear their own agenda.

    All agreed
Hibs were faster and played with more intent, our players rarely got a second on the ball without challenge and for parts of the game there seemed to be more of them than us on the pitch.  I think Saturday's efforts left the team looking tired from the start, which is a worry.  Strain, Olusanya, Kiltie and others wilted badly in the second half.  Boyd-Munce and Mandron were both shattered a while before the substitutions.  Add to that, we seemed to be benching players in order to take a tight scoreline into the last part of the game, maybe it would be better to start with your strongest line-up and then take players off if they are tiring rather than trying to steal it.
I hope the coaching staff learn from this, we dont seem to have the fitness to play with the intensity we normally do for more than a few games and it'svery like last season, we simply don't have that kind of squad.  On the plus side, Small really looked the part when he came on, maybe it would have been a different game if he had started and dragged a few defenders wide to give more space to the strikers.
Robinson might well have prioritised the league over the cup knowing the above.  Two big games in the offing to stay top 2 or three so let's hope everyone is ready for the next few weeks.  Most players will get an international week break soon so if we can hang on, regroup and then get some players back from injury the run-in to Christmas looks good

Glad it was good.  We went in a group of 6 about 4 years ago and only 4 main dishes made it to the table and it took a while to sort the bill out, so although I've heard it can be nice we haven't went back since the food & service at Pendulum and Genova has never disappointed.

A serious point, if you can't get a supporters bus or drive then the public transport options are OK to get there but a wee bit complex getting home, especially if there is extra time and the usual self-important idiots on  VAR.  Normal time & VAR will see a final whistle at around 21:45 with a brisk walk back to Waverley for the 22:13 to Glasgow.  Extra time and penalties will see the end of the game around 22:20, the only train after that is the 23:13 and you are looking at a 01:00-ish arrival in Glasgow
BUT, you can get a tram from Picardy place to the airport and then jump on the Glasgow airport bus to Buchanan, The tram takes about 40 minutes to get to the airport and there are Glasgow buses from there right up to midnight

No VAR for tonight so we should hopefully get away by 21:45 or no later than 22:35 if the is ET and pens

Solid line up and as expected
might be a need to use Flynn as an early sub to organise the defence which still needs a bit more leadership
on a train from central full of Jambos just now

But Shakespeare wrote in the idiom of his time, and if he had written it then it would have been "Ye"
The one that is on the wall is more based on the town-crier call of "hear ye" which was picked up by English fans and is still fukkin stupid

We definitely had the beating of Hearts in every game we played and should not have dropped a point to them last season
If this team is becoming as good as many think it is then we should come out on top, as long as we are less wasteful in front of goal.

It's not cancel culture, more risk management.  As for Gavin & Stacey that was a terrible show and the writers should be in court as well

The doff of the cap was to recognise his grit and determination, referrenced and acknowledged by all at the club.  It must have taken a lot of work through a lot of pain to get to where he is now.

Delight as Jonah Ayunga agrees contract extension (stmirren.com)
I missed this and didn't see anyone else comment.  Good news and it must mean he is well on the way back now.  Hard as hell to come back from ACL injuries and any lengthy lay off so a doff of the cap to the young man.
Hopefully see him getting game time after the next international break as the outlook is another few weeks as of last thursday
