Jack mentioned he has been carrying an injury for a few weeks on the after match interview at Tannadice. I expect that's why he isn't first pick at the moment.

I wonder if the 150 tickets held back are behind pillars, the goals are blocked by pillars and such like. i remember Partick did something similar for one of our Friday night games there - kept the obstructed view tickets until all others were sold out.

Clepington road is the main drag from the dual carriageway towards tannadice/Dens.  Might be best to come off the A 90 at invergowrie and come in via Ninewells

The traffic is a lot quieter just now with it being the school holidays.

Cheers buddy. I don't drive at that time and wondered about the traffic. WAs wondering about the M8 and M80 in particular being busy?

You'd be unlucky if it was much more tha the 90 minutes, can be "busy" but, accidents apart, usually keeps jogging along, 40mph - 50mph at worst, usually nothing to really be worried about.
PS If there;s any reason it takes you longer it's feck all to do with me.

Shouldn't be, approx 1hr 30 to Dundee, unless there's serious traffic.

I think the results are a bit disappointing... seems like if we run this in 20 years time a couple of the names wouldn't be there which says it all.

Steven McGarry is hardly a St Mirren legend to be honest so it will be quite disappointing if a Street is named after him ahead of other more deserving candidates.

Was going to post exactly that , 222 goals some achievement and an embarrassment to us as St Mirren fans and the whole process if he doesn't get a street named after him . I actually think he actually paid a transfer fee for himself so St Mirren could survive during a difficult time.

BuddyHolly9 reacted to Ayrshire Saints in St Mirren give Barnsley permission to speak to JR
A lot of fingers in the ears, head in the sand naievity on this thread. IF Ross has travelled to Barnsley for an interview or even informal talks it's because he wants the job. Talk of going there for  Championship level interview experience is utter nonsense. If they now offer him the job chances are he will take it. They will be offering him a comparitive fortune and they will be no doubt selling him a vision of a club with a massive transfer kitty via the new owners. He will have had the perfect inside line from Mallan and no amount of hand wringing or pleading on here will make an iota of difference The ball is firmly in Barnsleys and JR's court all we can do is await the outcome. At least it looks like a quick decision either way although if he does go it's 99% certain he will want JF to go with him. Whether we can persuade him otherwise (assuming the board would want to) is debatable.

It was nothing to do with anyone who was at the match. The boy wandered  away from the ground to a nearby shop where he was set upon,it had nothing to do with St Mirren or Dumbarton fans.
Nothing like a bit of sensationalism Ricky.

You are a wee bit hasty with the title of the thread - they could have been Dumbarton fans , or locals for all we know . Regardless, I hope they catch the cowardly basturds.

THE TIME IS RIGHT FOR BAKER STREET PAISLEY
“Paisley is on the cusp of being awarded the title of UK City of Culture in 2021 – being announced in early December.

Initially we’re asking for votes to win to demonstrate there’s widespread support for the Project. Massive impact if Paisley people & wider community endorse the plans.
It will raise the profile of Baker Street Paisley to a wider audience & offer an opportunity to pitch during next stage at a conference attended by influential industry leaders, funders & government ministers.
Help us move to the next stage & build momentum please.
    Much appreciated.

This doesn't even take into account the impact that the Cinema would have on that area too. All seem the right things to be happening in the town, but needs a fair bit of thinking through on transport infrastructure.

Thought he was having a brilliant game against Falkirk, we were cruising it, then Peter Grant snapped him in two how Grant didn't get sent off I have no idea. Then a couple of minutes later after getting back up McMullan got hit in the baws with the ball and walked off and that was the end of his Saints career.

As far as I could see if he took a slap he chucked it......
Another one who should have been better than he was (in his own head maybe) when he looks back on his career.
Utd are welcome to him, they seem to be picking up a few players of very average quality.
No sell on from Andy Robertson and Utd. will implode this year.....

I am still seriously considering buying a ST again. It might have to wait until I get back from my holiday at the end of June, right enough, but the pull is most definitely there.
I have flirted with the idea in years gone by having given up my old seat after the first half season at the current stadium, but never really felt strongly about it. That has changed, now.

Too soon for JR to go to Aberdeen.  If they were looking within Scotland it would be more likely they would go for someone like Alan Archibald.

Yeh, the ticket site is brutal and while not ours is a terrible user experience.

It tried to charge me an adult price for my son
Wouldn't let me add my youngest who has now got his first season ticket
Has my old seat against me and I couldn't change it
    Works different on different browsers
    Had some bizarre UI features

Overall, not quite sure how this got out into the real world.
Would have been terrified parting with cash over it!

Div, could you take over the ticketing website?
