faraway saint
To what end? Are you hoping the magic pixies hear you and make the changes you are asking…….no..er……sorry….. demanding? Are you lying on the ground and banging your fists and screaming like a toddler before you post this stuff? I'm disappointed in you, thinking he has the capability to actually think what he's posting is anything rather than following the crowd. No thought process, no real idea what he's posting is anything other than a bunch of word and no clue what really is involved in being the manager of a football team let alone running a football club. You have to laugh, Isabella was right.

Welcome to the Danny Lennon school of squad management, I hope you enjoyed today's lesson. If we don't sign a defender......................ach, what's the point, if we do, you'll squirm another reason to continue your continual derision of the manager. I must admit, you are smarter then the average "supporter" who usually says it in a more basic way but it's still the same shit.

Dibbles old paperboy
The official St Mirren website has reported on Twitter that there will be no more transfer business at St Mirren today. Interesting that St Mirren will run to the end of the season with a lack of defenders. BBC already reported that we are looking to bring in a few other players but the main targets were not with other clubs and beating tonight's transfer window deadline with them wasn't essential. faraway saint
BillyG already reported that there is a target on Lennons backside. His signing policy during the last 12 months has been absolutely gash. Goodness knows how much money he has spunked on paying players contracts off. We urgently need McLean and Teale back fit and playing well for the final weeks of the season. They will seem like two new signings. The writing was on the wall when we went off on pre-season training with only one recognised striker in Thommo and two inexperienced goalkeepers. Regardless of his opinion of Lee Mair it is fecking crazy to let him go at this stage of the season to one of our direct rivals when we have very little cover at centre back. Billiyg is more astute than the BBC........................... come to think of it, 50/50 but still funny, as in ha ha, you quote billy as a reputable source as he has a very strong dislike of the manager. Isabella Duke
The number of total breakdowns on here is starting to get quite funny actually. Absolutely pathetic way for grown up adults to behave but guys please continue. It may be childish but it's fecking hilarious. Please someone make another comment about McAusland only playing cos his dad is on the board. f**k proof that's too much hassle. Just repeatedly say it and hope that the very act of talking about it makes it true. ^^^^^ breakdown

Most likely less than it would cost to continue paying them to contribute the square root of f**k all.

Relatively successful signings in the last 12 months: Dummet (loan extended), Goncalves, Newton (3 times!), McGowan (1 year extension), Dilo, Kello, and Campbell - we'll see how Wylde does and it sounds like Magennis is being viewed partly as back up / squad player rather than a rival for Thompson. I wonder if this hits Lex's magic 20% success-in-transfers-minimum-requirement ratio? NeilPar72
But a lot more than if he hadn't signed them in the first place. Yes. Signing a player does generally cost more than not signing them at all. Correct.
TediousTom
Yes. Signing a player does generally cost more than not signing them at all. Correct. Normally that would be correct and your comment in it's purest form would appear to be just that, correct. However one could sign a player for say £100,000 plus a three year contract at £50,000 per annum. Total cost £250,000. However one could not sign a player thus paying no transfer fee and incurring no wage costs but instead spend £400,000 on prostitutes and cocaine. Total cost £400,000. One could argue that signing the player would actually have been cheaper but probably not as much fun. Anyway yet again its window closing time and all around our rivals are showing off new players in new strips with fake smiles and stories of "I always wantit to play furr umm, hingmie". Yet again we sit with our fingers rammed firmly up our bahookies with a shortage of playing staff in key positions and no new players. It fair curdles my spunk so it does! Froggie
Phew ! Thankfully no more signings, saves getting rid in a couple of weeks after they fail to impress. As predicted, fingers crossed by the board we miss automatic relegation and miraculously win the play off. Lennon to be despatched at end of season before employing the next failure by those who appointed the last two failures. Oh, and Mr Faraway, you sir are an ignoramus. whydowebother
In life outside football there are many hard working , intelligent people (with/without degrees etc) who are not in employment for various reasons. I would not be overly concerned with a couple of currently out of contract players coming in over the next week or so. Perhaps they might knuckle down and graft which is exactly the kind of player we need. There is no doubt we are candidates for the playoff spot , but I'm certain we'd be better supporting the team/management in the remaining games than going for the 'character assassination ' approach. We have the squad we have , so let's get supporting them
