faraway saint Posted January 2, 2022 Report Posted January 2, 2022 Anyhow, a stramash in the ICT box there, a few chances for Arbroath. Got a better stream/cameraman, that guy must have been thrown oot. Quote
faraway saint Posted January 2, 2022 Report Posted January 2, 2022 Arbroath bring on another loanee from Livingston, a forward, going for the win. Quote
faraway saint Posted January 2, 2022 Report Posted January 2, 2022 0-0 full time. Despite having plenty of pressure just couldn't find a real chance, plenty of "ohh, if only" chances but nothing clear cut. Still, ICT were wasting time for almost the whole of the 2nd half, that shows how far Arbroath have come. Quote
faraway saint Posted January 2, 2022 Report Posted January 2, 2022 Chelsea, really off the boil, 0-2 Liverpool. Salah with a classy goal to make it 2 nil. 27 mins. Quote

faraway saint Posted January 8, 2022 Report Posted January 8, 2022 The most exciting league in Europe continues today with the front runners away to a poor Ayr United side. Another away victory and let the other chasing teams, hopefully, slip up. Quote
faraway saint Posted January 8, 2022 Report Posted January 8, 2022 Millwall 1-0 Palace, if you like keepers making a cnut of it, this goal is for you. Quote
StanleySaint Posted January 8, 2022 Report Posted January 8, 2022 2-1 to Palace different side second half! Quote

StanleySaint Posted January 8, 2022 Report Posted January 8, 2022 Milwall have been much better since they went behind and Palace are a bit sloppy now. Quote

guinness Posted January 8, 2022 Report Posted January 8, 2022 Wycombe 2 Sunderland 3 5 minutes to go. Entertaining in game. Ross Stewart with 2 plus header for the first that ended up an own goal. He has turned into a fine player. 17 league goals this season. Sorry now 3-3.Smashing game. Quote
faraway saint Posted January 8, 2022 Report Posted January 8, 2022 Ayr 1-0 Arbroath, looked a bit of a disaster for Arbroath between a defender and the goalie, not exactly Sky Sports coverage, hard to say more than that. Quote

It really does beg the question about Stubbs and the running of the club at that time , doesn't it. How could he/we let a boy like that go , and fill the club up with unwanted dross , and be allowed to do so ? Quote
faraway saint Posted January 8, 2022 Report Posted January 8, 2022 Despite a disappointing loss today Arbroath stay top, helped by most of the challengers only drawing. Another big game next week, away to Raith Rovers, who have dipped recently. Quote
guinness Posted January 10, 2022 Report Posted January 10, 2022 Man U 1-0 against Villa. Villa had a goal disallowed by VAR after about 5 minutes of studying it. Still not sure why. Either obstruction or offside. No-one seems to know. They certainly do not tell anyone why it was disallowed. Looked as if they just kept looking until they found a reason to disallow it. Quote

Shocking decision, does this mean we have to examine the minute detail every challenge in the lead up to a goal to see if there’s been a possible infringement ? Quote
