Jack Ross made a right arse of this Competition last Season. Shamed the Club.

Come on the Buddie Colts

A reminder that the draw for the first round of the IRN-BRU Cup takes place a week today, Tuesday June 26, at 1.00pm.

The draw is being held at the People's Palace in Glasgow and will be streamed live on the SPFL Facebook page.

A total of 48 teams are involved - the 30 clubs from the Ladbrokes Championship, League 1 and League 2, the 12 Premiership Colt teams and three teams each from the Highland and Lowland League.

First-round ties will be played in the midweek of August 14/15, with the second round scheduled for the weekend of September 8/9.

Colts..........I like the name St Mirren Colts. Could we do it? To do so we will need to outperform previous colt teams in the competition....but why not?

Oh the irony , All the fussing about colt teams taking part and now our colt team is......:lol

I still don't think it's right. It should be only the lower SPFL clubs as that was the whole reason for the competition. I don't see any irony unless those who criticised now delight in the prospect. Even if we got to the final I wouldn't contemplate going.
