It was feckin Airdrie no Aberdeen!

It happened at a Ross County game I was going to years back. 30 mins before kick off it got called off due to " flash floods " . I was already in Inverness enjoying a few pre match pints. There was a mini riot when we got to Dingwall.

Turbo, Rab and Gary Blackwood look none too pleased.

Ah those were the days.  I recall a sojourn to a random Edinburgh pub one day when a game at Meadowbank thistle was called off at twenty past two (14:20hrs).  I reckon somewhere around 1993/1994?  Actually turned into a guid we afternoon with the less than handsome Knox Street bus members.

However the late call off doth do the tits right in, doth do the tits right in indeed.

I can remember  coming up for a game v Clydebank in the 90s only for it to be called off. Had nothing else to do but spend the whole day in the 'hole in the wa'

. Ended up a bit worse for wear. Someone escorted me on the train back to central and said I was singing woof woof, black and white army  to a dog. We won the re-arranged game 8-0 and of course I wasn't  there.

Aye, 8-0 was a good one. Then we played them down in Greenock and we drew 0-0 while wearing Morton strips.

I suppose they went out of business not long after that, so we had the last laugh.

I'd imagine drunkenly chanting at a dug would be enough to get you banned from the stadium nowadays.

I remember someone (not me) launching a missile over the wall in the pitch direction when they found out it wasn't a wind up.

I do recall free tickets at a midweek game in Dingwall given out in the pub , but not sure if it was the rearranged game.

Was up there that day too. Was there not some conspiracy theory back story to it about half their team being injured?

That rings a bell.

It wasn't even raining in Inverness prior to kick off. That's why we left the pub and went to Dingwall,  cause we thought they'd got it wrong.

That was the last season of the Knox St. bus and we shared with the tile that day.

Mind going for a bottle of voddy for the bus home after a bottle of Jack on the way up. Can't remember a thing about how I got home.

I mind you sitting with your 2 litre bottle of Fanta filled with Reef and you going 'tsssss' every time you opened it.
