faraway saint
Big game tonight for Newcastle. They're flirting with relegation, one of 3 teams, IMO, who will end up 3rd bottom.

I think his tactics of the overlapping centre half was found out this season, nobody had seen such a tactic in premier last season. Only time I ever seen it was at love street with peter godfrey ploughing up the wing on the odd occasion and that was quite a sight, mind you campbell money taking penalties was quite another............ faraway saint
I've noticed a resurgence in the form of Spurs, coincidently with more pitch time for Alli and Bale? Could just be the right time to hit a wee run, currently sitting in 7th. Kane, also just back from injury, worth watching when on form. faraway saint
Tonight's game could be decent, can Liverpool bring their European form to the league or will they continue their dismal run? Wolves are a generous 17/
faraway saint
Last of the Champions league last 16 tonight. Chelsea, 1-0 from the first leg, Bayern already through as they are 4-1 up from the away match in Italy. Fancy a draw in the Chelsea game, tight game to call. The Chelsea game turned out fairly comfortable, I've watched Chelsea a few times in the last couple of months, generally tight at the back but lacking a cutting edge. I do like the new manager, doesn't leave anything to the imagination.
faraway saint
Not many top league games this weekend, FA cup weekend. But, tonight's offering, Fulham, still fighting for survival against Leeds who have dropped in form, even by their erratic standards. faraway saint
Only one game in the top English league today, well, tonight to be exact................................ Relegation battle.
faraway saint
Last couple of games for this weekends games from the top league..................................... Can West Ham, currently sitting 5th, see off an inconsistent Arsenal? Villa have a great chance, IMO, as Spurs, after a short resurgence, have returned to mince. faraway saint
Watching Match of the Day, first game up was Chelsea v WBA. There's too many stats/.reason why this "was a home win". Chelsea 2-5 WBA, a couple of cracking goals from West Brom and another game that shows the English league is a brilliant league for football. As they say, a coupon buster.
