kevo_smfc got a reaction from shull in Managers Who Sit In Dugouts V Managers Who Stand At Touch Line
Watched the Chelsea v Man City gsme yesterday and mourinho dat on his seat in the dugout too.
We have a management team of a rookie manager and an experienced coach. Tommy is more of a touchline man that cant sit on his back side. You only need one person shouting Instructions whether its the coach or manager.

Makes no difference, another cheap shot at the manager.
Get a grip.

Danny was slated on here for changing the team every week after losses...now after a defeat the same posters who slated him want to change up to 50% of the outfield personnel who took 7 pts from 12.
The guy can't win.
Hoping that McAusland will solve our defensive problems is grasping at straws. There is nothing to base that hope on.
I'd pick the same 11, and send them out to make amends for that awful display they put on yesterday.

See Shull's answer.
Its easier to pick up a club in death throes for a song. Just look at The Rangers / Sevco. They managed to start up as a brand new club buy buying up all the assets of the now dead club called Rangers for less than £6 million - around half the price that Tesco paid for main asset of St. Mirren!
Unlike Hearts, Dunfermline, Killie, Dundee, etc, however, that brand new club is owned by spivs who are milking the fans for all their cash. Good!

Very true, very true indeed.
That said a little bit of irrational hatred can be enjoyable.
Player's who immediately spring to mind
Peter Grant - moaning weasal faced little shite
Scott Brown - moaning weasal faced little shite (the Miranda slap still makes me laugh)
Kenny Miller - moaning little shite
Ross Tokely - Career ending, thug like big shite
Davie Hay - I just took a right dislike to him and I hated him being our manager
Davie McPherson - Stupid hair do and loved time wasting
Mark Hately - Over paid, stupid big white toothed moaning thug shite
Andy Gray - Big bawheid that scored a header against us with his eyes shut and he was boring
Dave Bowman - Ginger haired ugly thugshite
Jim Bett - Big thug shite
Davie Dodds - Ginger haired ugly shite and his ginger tache made me want to vomit
Artur Boruc - Big holy moly bigot halfwit

And another thing.
The best player on the park today was Paul McGowan by a country mile. He has been played out of position all season, but when he is played correctly he dominates matches, and he did today: And more...
Sean Kelly by the way, what a player, keep deputising Mr Grainger. Darren McGregor is back, Lee Mair strolled it, he'd be my captain. One more shout though. Dilo. The best 3 goalkeeping performances I've seen from a Saints keeper ever. Yes, I've had too many, but I love this goalie.
We don't have much of a squad, but we have enough if they are properly used. They were on Monday, they were today.

That's why Danny is a league cup winning manager of a Scottish Premiership side while we are mere mortals who post on a football forum claiming we know best about team formations, tactics etc. Delighted for Danny Lennon.

kevo_smfc reacted to the digger in Connor Newton - I'd Rather Have Teale In Midfield
Gary Teale creates more goalscoring opportunities than the rest of the team put together, therefore he is a goal threat.
Hearts will be delighted if he doesn't play on Saturday.

Danny Lennon is one of the best and most successful managers we've ever had.
Just because your buns are not being buttered each week with an easy win at the moment doesn't mean he should be continually undermined.
Monday looked like the start of the players realising how to pull a performance together so this sort of thread at this particular moment is bollox.

kevo_smfc reacted to TediousTom in Saturday. Kelly Or Grainger ?
I see the merits of playing Grainger on Saturday as after all we are returning to Daniel's former club and such an occasion often has the effect of spurring players on to perform at the peak of the footballing ability that evolutionary laws provided them with.
However I thought young Kelly equipped himself well and he deserves to be picked on Saturday.
Also It would appear that Mr Grainger may have had some recent injury woes so a break may prove more beneficial in the slightly longer term.
It is the wish of I that Sean Kelly play on Saturday.

Aberdeen hadnt conceded a goal in 5 games before the game last night and were off the back of a spirited 5-0 hammering of Falkirk. We more than matched them last night and were unlucky not to go 2-0 up before they equalised.
Considering our poor run, the starting 11 has been re-shaped and Aberdeen are one of the strongest teams in the league, a point was an excellent result.

No doubt that last night was the best performance of the season. Each player looked hungry and motivated. Jim Goodwin looked ten times better in midfield and Sean Kelly made N encouraging competitive debut! That, coupled with the fans in good spoilers and in full voice made the night a very enjoyable one! Perhaps a stand out bit was a guy behind me shouted 'Goodwin, yer sh*te, you shouldnae even be playing', only to be swiftly put in his place by a boy of no more than 11 who told him 'If you think we're sh*te, go home then' much to the amusement of people round about!
