We have completed 98 seasons in the top flight. 
The 1939/40 season was abandoned after 5 matches due to the outbreak of WWII and in general excluded from all records. Totally subjective of course, could argue either way this forthcoming season will be our 99th or 100th in the top flight. Anyone got any thoughts on this? 

Note to OP - what someone says at interview and then what they actually do once appointed are very often two entirely different things. 
 
At an interview you say what you think the potential employer wants to hear.  Did he say I'm going to sign a pile of duds - no of course he didn't, did he say I'm going to destroy morale within the club - no of course he didn't.
The board asked all the relevant questions going by your quotes and he gave gold plated answers.  It was his actions that let Stubbs down and we all know actions speak louder than words.
Oh and just as a matter of interest how exactly do you intend getting rid of the board - they are hardly going to sack themselves !
You LPM seem to live in a land of constant personal conflict, always a vendetta against some element within what at the end of the day is just a football club you happen to "support".  I really wonder why you bother at all ???

If that's the case we should just give him Josh Heaton.  

Thanks, it was a hard decision to make seeing as I really liked the club and like I previously mentioned I made friendships here and a few of the staff members helped me get through tough times (please don't see this as a sob story)  And I'll, of course, mention the things to my contact there. Hope they improve it seeing as this club needs to stay at the highest level.

Less 20% VAT, many concessions, stewarding, policing, loss of income from reduced price family stand season tickets, the incalculable cost of pissing off your own fans. 
We will make more money but certainly not ‘a six figure sum’ quoted by the chairman, and in the longer term the message is definitely if you are a family you are very welcome but we’d prefer to sell tickets to bigots. 
The atmosphere in the family stand is totally different to the rest of the ground and the club have been trying to cultivate it but obviously don’t want to look to the long term with this sort of decision. 
If at best we make a maximum of £80k out of this decision then in reality that will allow us to bring in a player on less than a grand a week, by the time you add on national insurance, pension contributions, win bonuses etc. That is what a grand a week player actually costs. 
So let’s not kid ourselves that this is going to make a massive difference to the playing budget. Having said that it could be used to contribute to the replacement Astro at Ralston but that is a whole different discussion!

Can any of the people in favour of giving OF fans the South stand explain the £100k+ figure? If you believe the decision is justified by the significant extra income then presumably you believe it.

Lots of huge positives since the change of ownership but that doesn't mean there should be blind acceptance of everything.

Those we sit in the Family Stand are rightly pissed off and those who don't sit in the Family Stand don't see what the fuss is about.

I hate giving the Glasgow arse cheeks any priority over our own fans in any shape or form. This is what's happened.

Just wait to the W7 boys experience the policing in the lead up to and the actual OF games. Through no fault of their own they will be targeted for strong arm policing. 
Given this decision to screw one set of fans over I very much doubt the board and the fans reps will have the backbone to stand up for them either. 
One town one team, we are on our way......until the OF come calling. 

Imagine not being able to enjoy it. Enjoy the great escape, followed by the push for the title. To not be able to enjoy the pumpings of Hibs, Dundee United, Falkirk, Morton, Ayr, Raith and the rest, to not be able to enjoy the 10 months unbeaten in the league at our own ground, where we could barely go ten days unbeaten previously. Imagine hoping we lose like we did yesterday, all because you wrote something stupid on the internet last December and can't admit you were wrong.
