The St mirren way is a slug fest and a loss on Saturday, a struggle and a leggy effort against the worst Falkirk team in ten years, losing to a dodgy penalty, then a derby day collapse and finally roll on an adventure away to Grangemouth for a show down.

All the whole time worrying about Livingstons improving goal difference.

No surprises for some Billy, there's no romantic games in the top league, and if anyone thought we were close to a team capable of surviving then maybe time to think again.

The coverage of this is like watching the Winter Olympics all over again. Turned over to it after MOTD this morning, half an hour of the Clare Balding Show before we seen any sport. When will the BBC learn we tune in to these events to see sport and not Clare fkin Balding?

This is why I don't support 4th place making playoffs in a 10 team league. You could have just scraped a top half finish and have the same chance of promotion as the second placed side who are 30pts above you but missed the title on goal difference.
They should either revert back to the two up-two down system, or have 2nd v 9th (from above) in a playoff. SPL would be 2nd v 11th.

Ended up voting for Eckersley's goal.
I find it strange they decide this when we still have 5 games left...plenty of time for more contenders!

Gutted I can’t be there tonight.
Hard to believe it’s 41 years since we won the league on a wet Tuesday night in Dundee.
My old man drove me, my brother and our cousin up there that night straight from school, hardly any Saints support in the ground that night at kick off,  but gradually filled up as the first half progressed.
Frank McGarvey hat trick that night but Billy Stark ran the show, have a great night all buddies heading up there tonight, let’s hope for a similar result like 1977.

This disgraceful piece in The Guardian is promoting the fact the UK should take military action because of "Assad's chemical attack", while of course not giving us any evidence the Syrian government actually carried  this attack.
If you go to the comments section, change Comments:Newest to Recommendations ,  it's clear that many people in the UK (and elsewhere) have given up on their media, many of us after the WMDs in Iraq nonsense we were fed. Thankfully this lack of belief in the media is one positive in otherwise worrying times. I'm delighted to see the author has been torn apart for this horror of a "news piece".  I of course put in my thoughts too

Bring it on Saints

Evening. Just dropping by to say we are welcoming away fans for this fixture same as we have on previous visits for your Fans.
We are a pub based 100m from Tannadice and welcome all football fans. We are mainly a Dundee pub so won't have any arabs. We have pints from £2.40, jukebox, 2 x pool tables and Sky, BT Sports. 
Buses and supporters clubs are welcome as well as lone supporters. 
Any clubs interested if they get in touch i could arrange food etc. 
Appreciate its a midweek game but offer is there. If anyone is interested get in touch so i can put on additional staff to make sure we cater for everyone.  I can put on some ST Mirren highlights for you all aswell.

What about a 2nd tier on top of existing stands?

If we didn’t know it before then the past few days have confirmed it we are one big Saints Family. Post after post on here and on twitter by saints fans offering lifts to others who don’t have cars. The minute someone asks “anybody have a spare seat” right away someone else has offered. Haven’t seen that before. Just shows you how good it is to be a saints fan just now. Truly are Buddies. 

My mate has got a spare ticket, I bought two on the day they went on sale but as it happens he's going to sit next to me now. He bought his before I asked him about it. Any interest PM me.

Scottish Football needs Brechin City, not fecking Sevco.

The point is that five times this season we have lost by 3 goals or more. That's my concern going into a better league next season.

One of the beautiful things about Laurel and Hardy is that they can appeal to a worldwide audience because most of the comedic parts are visual. My grandfather in Belgium can barely speak a word of English, but he finds Laurel and Hardy hilarious. It's great to see it can be appreciated in such a way, you don't get comedies like this any more.
