Isn't it great to see the LabCon alliance shitting their right wing undies at the prospect of an SNP whitewash in May.

And yet another sensible Saints related debate reduces to tittltattle / banter between a few!
Sort it out guys - keep the forum decent.
Plenty of other mediums for chit-chat! (Facebook groups etc!)

Are we settling for it though! 45% said they weren't happy with it! (The scary equation is that 55% said they were!)
People are waking up - May will be a MAJOR shake up for Scotland - mark my words!

    Family stand. Nae swearing.
West stand. Anything goes - within reason. The old North Bank in LS was a far more sweary experience than the West Stand has ever been.
Fitba needs to stop trying tae be PC. Ruining the game.

The game needs to attract a better class of behaviour in order to persuade others to come along to matches.
Aye - that's worked well in the last 20 years - struggle to get a ticket most Saturdays nowadays eh?
The over sanitisation of going to the football has led to the games demise in Scotland! At least the weans can get a shot on a bouncy castle before getting pigged out on overpriced hot dogs & fizzypop - Top hole!

Never having been one for over-zealously using expletives (Bad words) myself, I always thought that going to the "fitba" was a haven where blokes (&, or ladies) could let off some steam of a Saturday afternoon.
Things at SMP have apparently changed!
A large group who sit at the back of the West stand (& have done so since day 1) were "spoken to" by a bloke in a yellow jacket about swearing!
If there is anyone who goes to a game & doesn't expect a tad of industrial language then they are dillusional!
We have a family stand where swearing is forbidden (Apparently it's one warning then out) - If those that sit in the midst of the main football fans are worried about lingo - F*** em!

I have zero anger management issues but swear occasionally. To say anyone who swears has anger management issues is miles wide of the mark. Put the amatuer psychology books down now - it's for your own good !

Yeah, all the best leagues in the world have stadiums (half) full of people sitting in total silence.

Don't really think if you sit at the football and say nothing that makes you normal. If you went to a game and had zero passion or care then what's the point in going??

I don't go to the football and swear for 90 minutes. I do however swear when say Willie Collum sends off a St.Mirren player or St.Mirren miss an easy chance!!
Thats what I mean by swearing is part of football!

Got to admit I do swear on occasion so did my Dad so did my Grampa it's part of going to the football.
But lets be honest at Ibrox and Parkhead they sing about the UVF and the IRA!!
I would rather sons here a few f**ks on a Saturday rather than bigoted sectarian pish that kids hear at the Old Firm!
St.Mirren have a family stand if you don't like swearing then that's the place to sit!
I have on a few occasions told other fans to shut it when they have gone over the top!
But I remeber the most offensive supporter ever Fergie use to watch Hamilton Accies sat next to the fence at Love Street!! He was in his sixties and would swear gesture and rub his hands with excitement!!!!
Ahh Old Love Street where swearing was acceptable!

I have spent most of this season in the Family stand.
Next season i will be back in the West Stand where i will enjoy the occasional "Aww for f**k sake" , "f**k sake ref thats ridiculous" , "get a grip of that Bastard ref" & f**k sake Saints clear yer lines !"
If Oaksoftintheheid or any other of my Saints chums feel they may be offended by such language please let me know where you sit & will do my utmost to ensure i am well away from their delicate ears ........ coz i`m that sort of considerate f**ker !
I took both my Kids to games over the years & when the bad men shouted nasty words i simply said , "just ignore it & dont repeat it !" "Dad" , Said my son " I hear it every day in school !!" & that was just the teachers !
