Wow. Now a senior member of the government is saying in today's paper that if a YES vote wins but negotiations don't go well that Westminster will simply ignore the referendum result.
Danny Alexander is now scurrying around saying that won't happen on his watch.
Also, in other news, the Scottish Tories have admitted the No campaign won't publish details of any proposed increased devolution until AFTER the referendum and that the Tories won't be able to say ANYTHING at all until just before the vote.
FFS this is genuinely unbelievable.
It's as though they simply want to lose.
The stupidity of completely ignoring the fervent wishes of 70% of voters is simply staggering.
It's one thing asking Salmond for a Plan B but it's a bit rich coming from people who don't even have a Plan A !!!!
Anyway, that's the confirmation folks. A No vote means we stay the same. No increased devolution, a significant drop in the Barnett forumula handout and a future of Tory rule. Fabulous! We should be enthused. Are you enthused? I'm certainly fired up by more of the same and will promptly change to voting No. I can barely conceal my excitement. I expect many hard core Yes voters to simply give up the fight now in the face of an offer of nothing from the No campaign. Days like this don't come around very often.
ETA: The press in most countries around the world have described Osbornes comment about no currency union as a blatant "threat".

Yeh , there was a programme that SSN alluded to by Stuart Cosgrove . In the show he was asking people what being Scottish meant to them , one guy said that he was only British , as far as his passport was concerned. .
Eventually , Cosgrove ended up in an Orange Lodge , where, some head honcho guy told Cosgrove that he was Scottish but more importantly that he was very British.
Now there was a time when l thought all the British stuff was kept up by them just to get it up the other mob , but now l'm not so sure . I just can't see any of that Orange Lodge/ Sevco supporting elite ever voting anything but "NO" , nyeht , non , nada, f**ken never. .
The thing that always makes me laugh is that the English never refer to themselves as British , always only ever , English . British is a term they use for people living in other parts of the UK and also a word they use when they talk of the Army. .

In theory there may well be...but realistically, would an established manager, ie not a Danny Lennon, Ian Murray, Allan Johnston appointment from lower leagues want the job. By that I mean someone who has a pedigree about him ala Coyle, McCall, Butcher, McInnes. (when they got the Well, ICT & Dons jobs)
With the club up for sale, board wanting out, and prospect of new unknown bosses.
Then there's the fact that the man he is replacing took the club to its highest league position in 20 odd years, won a piece of National Silverware but still wasn't able to win over a large or vocal section of the support.
Hardly an ideal situation to sell to targets.
I'd fear we would be forced to go down the same route as Danny and appoint an untested lower league manager such as Murray. Which isn't really a step forward from the 4 years we just had under Danny.

Maybe EDD could stop Bahoken becoming lonely and homesick by speaking in French with him and taking him to Costa in Braehead for croissants and cafe au lait.
