My own opinion on it is initially i thought he caught the lad late leading with the studs but having looked at it a good few times it does seem he may have made contact with the ball and won it back for us. However he does seem to follow through and catch the player. Definitely a challenge he's entitled to make, the ball is clearly there to be won. Football is a contact sport after all. Doubt it'll get rescinded.

Would be surprised at that, he was a regular for Sporting KC last season and their season starts in a couple of months.
I see Ross County tried to sign Chris Porter (ex Motherwell) from Sheffield United. Player is willing to come back to Scotland but doesn't fancy going that far north. Would be a fantastic signing.

Frankly, we deserve everything coming to us. It has been on the cards for a few seasons and we have lurched from bad to worse. The BOD are guilty of mismanaging the last appointment and put themselves and the club in its worse position since promotion. If money is not available then the main questions are a) do we bring in an experienced manager who may get something out of our squad to escape the drop or play offs and if the limits of our squad is reached and cannot be improved out with funding for replacements, do we bring in a younger/potential manager who will require a rebuilding exercise to get back up the SPL?
We do not have sufficient firepower in our team to score regularly to go on an unbeaten run nor good enough or experienced defenders to keep a clean sheet. No funding makes our demotion appear more likely. I am not a pessamist but just realistic and that our team is the poorest in a number of years.

McGinn showed a real lack of experience today in the second half. He cut inside and was fouled, stayed on his feet and hit the right footed shot off target. Had he went down it was a certain penalty.

Poor stuff.

Absolute nonsense.Teale is not even a proven Coach.He has been coaching for barely six months.If he wants to be a Manager let him go and learn his trade at a smaller club.In the meantime we urgently require an experienced man with a decent track record who can wheel and deal.More importantly our playing staff needs needs major therapy.

I'm in absolute despair at the current predicament. I think we've gone with Tommy for far too long and genuinely believe we're gonna struggle to come back from this. Tommy should've went after the Hamilton game and we could have gave ourselves a couple of weeks breathing space and time to find a new manager.
Now here we are with no manager and a massive game looming at the weekend and an absolute humping off Celtic just gone by. No signs off Improvement and defeat off Motherwell will leave us cut adrift. The board simply need to get this appointment right or it might just be the end of the Premiership road.
That being said getting the right manager is one thing keeping ourselves in the mix until January is another. Gilmour and the board need to dig deep and get the right players in that are gonna make up for Tommy's transfer woes. 3 strikers, all ineffective is utterly demoralising.
My thoughts on a new manager? In an ideal world for me it would always be Mixu. For now i would really settle for Caldwerwood. I dont care whether people like him or not but he has the track record but again he simply doesnt have the personnel to work with. All these people talking of Barry Smith and Billy Stark scares me. Please no!

Calderwood kept both Kilmarnock and Ross County up when they were heading for the drop. And this is without the supposed "massive budget" he had at Aberdeen and Dunfermline.
I don't see any better candidate for trying to keep us in the league.

Barry Smith is not the answer.

Billy Stark would be a dreadful appointment.

Barry Smiths will never be our boss he's not good enough his Spl record was poor and just because his team beat The Tribute act in some stupid cup doesn't make him any better ,someone else said Allan Moore at least thst looked like a windup .

It wasn't a mistake IMO, the mistake was appointing TC as manager.

No offence but why does everyone think Thompson will make a good manager. IMO we would be better off with a complete outsider who can't be sentimental in getting rid of the dross already at the club and sort out our defence.
