He wasn't hounded out. His contract ended and the Board decided not to renew his contract. He did not quit and he was not fired so his leaving was not a result of fan power.

The biggest concern for me is that yesterday's defeat was expected and when it happened I felt nothing other than sheer resignation and a deep feeling that there is no escape from this. If we do go down (and that is very likely) blame must be placed at the feet of the Board who are running our club and made the decision not just to appoint a failed manager but also to give him a 2 year contract FFS. They are culpable for that decision but also responsible for ensuring the club does whatever is required to secure our status. The silence is deafening. The board saved us, but how much more milage is left in that when all around us is crumbling and heading down south quicker than a whore's drawers?

The BoD have to take responsibility. It was an absoloute joke to employ TC as the manager. They deserve praise for what they have done for the club in the past, but now as a debt free club, we are going backwards instead of forwards. A prime example of this - why have we not tried to get sponsorship for the stadium? Surley that would be an extra player every season?

TC is a joke. The BoD said budget was reduced by one player. If you take away some of the duds we've had the past few years (Bahoken etc) TC must have a bigger budget than DL had last season. Not one of his signings (apart from Plummer) has done anything worthy.

His first act in the role was to appoint Jim Goodwin, a thug, who has been outed many time on TV for his behaviour as his assistant/coach. This man is now serving a four match ban.

He has absoloutely no tactical awareness, it wasn't until a Q&A with fans that we actually started doing things differently with regards to set pieces.

I can't remember the last time we had an injury list as bad as we do. Coinsidence or just poor old school training by TC?

The whole of this season he has banged on about not being able to score goals. Has he forgot about our absoloute rotten defence that has needed fixing for the past several years.... when he has been here!

If St. Mirren haven't been sold by now being debt free, having a brand new stadium, training ground and having one the best youth academies in the country then it might just be time that Stewart Gilmour realises he could be here for a while. Tommy Craig was the cheap option, we all know that. If it continues like this Gilmour will have a decision to make and the cheap option could very well turn out to be the most expensive option.

He should have been sacked after the defeat to Dundee United.
Statisically he is worst St Mirren manager in the clubs's history, he was the wrong choice and the cheap option.
Fed up reading his constant excuses in the press, he just does not have a clue as a manager, his record in Belgium says it all.
If we lose to Kilmarnock then the Saints fans should have a protest after the match demanding his dismissal.
John Coughlin was a bad manager too, but at least the team scored some goals under his stewardship.

Like most on here I have no idea what McGowan was earning. However I have not read the term 'wage thief' levelled at Harkins, Grainger, Bahoken, Djema-Djemba, Cornell, Caprice or even Gary Teale who was out injured almost all season. McGowan may not have been at his best but he played most weeks and tried hard most weeks.

We miss the liability.

I wouldn't read too much into one shit-stirring c**t's interpretation of a conversation he couldn't even hear, based on a dominant performance/solitary-goal defeat away to last year's runners up.
We'll be more than fine this season and all the usual suspects in the media who love to doubt us will look f**king daft again.

I paid £30 to watch the commonwealth games medal games. Seven hours worth of sport in nice surroundings, no segregation, no police, no cunto stewards. Could have a few beers, a good variety of food and wasnt treated like a potential criminal to and from the stadium by f**kwit police.
I saw the best player currently on the planet in both male and female games win gold medals.
Motherwell is a shithole. You'll go to the game, you'll be segregated, you'll be banned from doing certain things, like drinking. The food will be outstandingly shite. The police and stewards will view you as a potential criminal. The police may well even be armed nowadays as a show of "strength" and you'll sit in a crappy old stand looking out on a pitch where the goals at the far end look f**king wonky because the cunts couldn't even build their pitch on a flat bit of ground. You''l be charged £23 quid for a couple of hours worth of low quality sport.
I like the football, but the pricing structure has made me decide to not go to many games now. I have young kids that Id rather be with and spend the time and money with them. I also find Motherwell and intensely depressing town. They really need to flatten it and try again.
