    The tone. The cheap shot.
If you can represent your concerns without the need to resort to personalised attacks based on assumptions and speculation, then people might be more inclined to address them, I'd have thought.

What is offensive is you suggesting that Gordon Scott is in this to make a fast buck, and also to see that his ex-colleagues in the boardroom get a nice wedge.....
Isn't that what you suggested? Happy to stand corrected.

Got this through my press contacts via Pie and Bovril. Interesting !
Maybe the council can come on board with 10000hours - stronger together and all that ?

5 teams have now confirmed they will vote no to a Newco coming into the SPL which means the motion can't be passed. Voting yes would now be suicide for a club like St Mirren, it won't get Rangers in and will be hugely negative for us the fans. Issue over, vote no, done and dusted, bish bash bosh!

Loaded questions? Yes, but when was the last time you saw a survey that wasn't. The questions are easy to answer for me.
    1. No
    2. No - Our team would cope
    3. No - Our club would survive
    4. Yes - I would do all I can if ST Mirren were in trouble.
I see these answers as no brainers, others may have different views. Each there own.

Firstly it's not Div's doomsday scenario - the current BoD have indicated to him as part of the meeting with 10000 Hours that the football club would have serious short-term financial problems as it would lose 60% of its revenue if Sky pull the plug. Do you understand that or are you calling Div a liar?
So if Sky do walk away the football club will be in financial difficulties, REGARDLESS OF WHO THE OWNERS ARE.
One thing is for sure though - if the Sky deal is cancelled 10000 Hours will not be the owners because Bii will pull their funding so no fans money is going to be tied up anywhere.
This is not a 10000 Hours issue no matter how much you try to make it one. If 10000 Hours call the whole thing off tomorrow St Mirren FC's future will still be dependant on what happens with the Sky deal.
If you think Div is being used as a pawn being fed misinformation to try and influence the 10000 Hours member to vote yes to Newco then that's one conspiracy theory too far for me. For starters the current BoD can just vote yes if they like without consulting anyone and additionally the feeling is so strong to vote no to Newco that they would be wasting their time.

Which ones are those then Sid, Motherwell are asking the "Well society" by no means all fans, Dundee Utd asked supporters groups again not all of there fans, Hearts (well no), Aberdeen (Nope), Inverness (Nope), Killie (unconfirmed that all fans will be asked). So I will happily concede if you can point me in the direction of just one SPL club that have surveyed all of their fans for their opinions.
You do make valid points in some of it, but keep the fanciful statements for Somner.

    The conditions mentioned were indeed mentioned at the meeting on 7th June and are mentioned on page three of the powerpoint presentation which you can download here;
    http://www.10000hour...ntation0706.pdf
There is no conspiracy here, nothing is being hidden. The facts are that we (10000hours) are buying a business, and the people lending us a big chunk of that money to help us buy that business want to understand that the business is sustainable and isn't going to collapse in a heap in two months time.
At the moment nobody knows what is going to happen to the SPL revenues next season.
Sky have a clause they can invoke once Rangers are out of the league which allows them, if they so wish, to exit the contract. That is a fact and whilst it seems unlikely it still COULD happen.
IF that scenario came to pass then perhaps the fans would simply rally round and start pledging money to help keep the club afloat. Would they really be in a position to do that AND continue their 10000Hours subscriptions and gate money all at the same time ? I would suspect not.
This is of course a doomsday scenario but it would be foolish in the extreme not to at least consider the implications of what could come to pass.
I can't see any problem in delaying things for 2-3 weeks more so that we can understand exactly the lie of the land.
Again, it's simple common sense and the same prudent approach that the current board have used to guide the club successfully through the last 20 years.

I don't know how the bid's going to go tomorrow and I'm keeping my fingers crossed we can pull a rabbit out the hat, but I just wanted to say well done to everyone who has signed up - over £11,000 a month.
I'm astounded by the response in the last few weeks.

You all make me proud to be a Buddie xx

ADMITCHELL reacted to 10000hours in Bin The Cic But Buy The Club!
So how do you convert this monthly payment of more per share that we have offered (great move) into a lump sum that you can pay to the consortium? or do you expect the consortium to just take an annual payment each year per year for 10ish years until we have bought it?
Who controls the club while we are buying it in small pieces? Do we have to wait until we are half way there until the Fans who have bought the shares get the control of the board?
What happens if it goes wrong do the Consortium get the shares back?
How are you going going to guarantee that they get the full money?
I see you think that going to Tesco bank for the money is a good idea, what sort of security on the Club assest do they require, what sort or guarantee would you offer?
We have offer ZERO gaurantee over the Stadium via fixed or floating Charge. The CIC debt is its own, that why it is a social funder and not your traditional money source as we are not prepared to put the debt on the Club.
If we had been we could have done this deal a very long time ago, but it was an absolute belief that we should not do this and if the only way to do it is to either Guarantee v the Club assets or take money out of the Club via Directors wages or %age of future transfers by using the club as some sort of showcase Club, rather than running St Mirren FC for the benefit of St Mirren FC, than we are not interested.
The aim is for the Club to be community owned, fan Governed with no debt to do the deal secured on the Club...that is an absolute, no compromise

The people Ian, who don't join the CIC and it goes through will be blowing hot air, cos they will have no voice in how the club is run, i still think us running our own club is the way ahead than some dodgy businessman paying himself a vast amount of money which will come out of the playing budget, let the doom merchants have there say, at moment the they are entitled to it,
