What I will say, the early bird discount should be the flat season ticket price for this season.
This would at least serve a couple of purposes. Firstly, It wouldn't make anyone feel pressured into buying a ticket just now when financial uncertainty is still a very real threat for a lot of people.
Secondly, people don't know what they are getting in terms of number of games they can attend (or even how many games will be in the season) for next season regardless. It would be a decent gesture to announce the early bird price is actually being extended out to just being the full season ticket price this year. It is highly unlikely that we will get to our full allocation of 18/19 home games anyway.
I don't have a problem buying my ticket and have already done so, but I'm not keen on the whole 'buy early, guarantee your seat' campaign in current times.
If ticket is set at £303 (adult, west stand), then it should be out there at that price until the season starts - that way folk can choose if they want to invest/donate or not instead of feeling they need pony up just now. Several folk will likely be back at work by late July/early August...I don't like idea of them missing out on their seats or having to pay extra  because they couldn't do so in May or June.

Reading some of these posts. I think some people think its compulsory to renew their season ticket right away. Your not. The club is saying if you can please do. I'm sure they understand some are struggling money wise. Nobody is a superfan like someone said cos they bought theirs early. All Saints fans are Superfans. They support their hometown team without question. Dont think it's time for bickering. Rant over. Coys.

As others have stated, if ii was us, Ross County, Hamilton or Livingston sitting at the bottom, reconstruction wouldn't even have been mentioned.
I haven't paid attention to any of our media football "experts", but surely some of them have mentioned this.

I do not think reconstruction has a hope in hell in getting through. The 11-1 vote if nothing else will see to that as why dilute the pot by increasing the number of Clubs and  why vote for potentially less income from sponsorship?
There is a good article in the Scotsman today where the Chairman of Stenhousemuir says he is sick to the teeth of the SPFL  as the Board and Premiership do not give a damn for the smaller clubs. He is not happy about attempts to change the League on a temporary basis to save Hearts while doing nothing for Partick or Stranraer. (Of course reconstruction may change that but at the moment PT and Stranraer are down whereas Hearts are not). If his views are typical there would be little support further down the Leagues.
The Championship has been called a the best League in Scotland for years. Likewise League One and Two are competitive. Every game in the Premiership means something. For me I would leave as is especially the motivation for change.
