Hmm unpopular, no credible record in football, thinks they know more than everyone else but has achieved precious little bar their own self publicity

......but for all that I think Murray is still a better option than Katie Hopkins and it'd cost to pay him off and re-hire
If we were to replace him with a vile talentless bitch I'd think Michelle Mone might be a better option given her experience in getting the most out of disappointing slumping tits.

The £1.25m bid was fully funded both by the Fans and business people and was underwritten so the money would all be paid.
Not as many Club memberships were sold as was hoped but some much larger one off sums were available instead.
But you have seen a copy of the offer made....of course?

His overall contribution is below par? What exactly are you expecting from a midfielder in his first full season in senior football? It's not December yet and he already has 5 goals. How many goals would be above par for a teenage midfielder at this stage of a season?
The readiness of some of our fans to stick the boot in to our younger players will never cease to amaze me.

The reason why they don't appear "very bright", is because the flood lights are focussed on the pitch itself (enabled by computerised precision no less, IIRC) and there is very little "wasted" light to light up the surroundings i.e.non pitch areas.
Most other club's lights are extremely wasteful, with respect to lighting up non-pitch areas.
GLS described this very fact at some point when the new stadium was being constructed.

On second thoughts... Get Chic in, bag Spalding, and create a management team of Chic Murray.

I cycle regularly on the roads and it pisses me off when some cyclists disobey the rules of the road.
The majority of us are good but as always some aren't and we all get tarnished.
I always use my extra number plate when using cycle carrier.
    Aren't I a good boy?

Tony Fitzpatrick's young son died from leukaemia. Upon his return to the first team one of his first games for Saints was at home to Rangers. During the game an incident occurred between Fitzy and Cooper during which words were exchanged. Some of the words from Cooper were of a derogatory and less-than-sympathetic nature towards Fitzy, his deceased son and the difficulty being experienced at that time. Fitzy was red-carded for his reaction. I understand he had to be dragged off Cooper during said reaction. Not having seen one of our favourite midfielders employ violence before or since may underline how offensive were the words spoken by Cooper.

    It's a good deal.
What some need to remember is that there are people who have committed to season long hospitality packages already, some read this forum.... Publicly broadcasting a cheaper deal wouldn't be good business from CK.
Some questions would be raised if this was quite a bit cheaper.
    Commercial details can be sensitive.

We will do well to come up in the next five years. There will be a period of adjustment - my guess would be that will take a couple of seasons. After that, we should hope to be challenging for play-off spots.
I would be (very pleasantly) surprised if we return to the top flight before the decade is out, unless aided by league reconstruction.

I think john hughes has a bit more than passion mate ,I wish any of our 2 managers this season had 50% of what hughes has ,shouts, talks nonsence sometimes but can get a team to play for each other and get results,

    Greetings fellow buds.
Inspired by the season long thread about Leicester City I'm going to use this thread to blog about my other footballing love Tranmere Rovers.
Those of you who know me will already know that at 18 I left home to move to liverpool to attend Uni - 26 years later I've just not made it back!
I'm lucky my folks still stay localish and now as a proud dad to a wonderful lad I've installed him into the Saints way much to his mothers dismay !
Anyway I digress - on arrival in Liverpool in 1988/89 I spent most of that season trying to cure my football addiction by attending both Anfield and Goodison watching both the reds and blues of merseyside - back in the day you could turn up and pay a fiver and stand on the Kop or Gladys Street End. Both the liverpool and Everton teams of the day were packed full of quality and many Scottish internationals played for both teams. However as the season went in I never really felt part of it- I was used to turning up to love street - standing in the same bit of the ground - seeing the same faces and feeling part of "something" I was used to crowds of 4000 so 40000 in the Liverpool or Everton grounds was alien to me at this point I didn't even know Tranmere Rovers existed !
One of the lads I played footy with at college came from a place called "the Wirral" only a short Mersey ferry ride or train journey away - he was a tranmere fab and encouraged me to go and watch them in the old Division 4 .
The reason I'm going to blog throughout the season about tranmere - my memories and experiences watching them home and away is because last weekend tranmere sacked their manager and are currently rock bottom of the football leagues
Feel free to post comments - get involved or just read along as hopefully throughout the remainder of the season starting getting some results and climb the league and don't drop out into non league obscurity like Chester City - Wrexham - and Stockport - all local tranmere rivals .
