Doakes got a reaction from mattman in Ross County v St Mirren 16.10.21
Yep 100% got to be McCarthy, has earned his right to start. Dunne will need to play his way back into the team. Not a bad thing to have competition for places

Something that's a bit of a rarity for us in the top flight.
Racking up 3 on the spin this early on would be massive and would put real daylight between us and the increasingly isolated bottom 3 which should always be number one priority before we start looking up the table.

Brilliant result, we came out a completely different team that 2nd half, McGrath totally upped his game and what a signing Ronan is going to be for us, Brophy also had another decent game and was unlucky not to score again, he is a handful.
Erhahon shouldn’t be in that starting 11 for me, far too lazy and just looks half arsed most of the time, I could see Goodwin getting annoyed at him yesterday.

2nd half make it worthwhile for me getting up at 6am. Just need the golfers to perform a miracle later to piss off the Yanks in the sport bar later to really make my day 😂

Aye, you can forgive a fortunate goal, but you can't expect to win games if defenders aren't holding shape, midfielders not tracking back and ball watching at set pieces. Lucky not to be further behind. Not good enough towards the end of that half

Goodwin must be raging. He was talking about keeping it tight at the back recently but all over the place at the moment, basic errors like ball watching

We're better when we pass it around, long balls don't work

An early kick off on a Sunday isn’t kind to supporters travelling down from Aberdeen. My guess, given their current form, the early start and the match being on tv that no more than 750 Dons Fans will be there. Our hard core support is between 3,800 and 4,200. My guess is 4,750 crowd. On a Saturday at 3pm I would guess 1250 dons and 4,000 home fans. Total 5,250. A loss of 500 . Average price of say £20 a head means a gate sacrifice of around £10,000. If TV pays more then short term financially it makes sense.

I'd like to see reform but only if it benefits clubs that are not Rangers & Celtic
