I think you are right in saying the forum represents a small majority of the St.Mirren supporters. Most of my mates never post on here, but they do read it from time to time.
It's here to give St.Mirren fans a chance to voice their opinions and debate what is happening at the club.
Opinions and feelings are running high at the moment, but actually this can also be when the forum is at it's best. There are lots of genuine points being made in between some of the less desirable stuff.

Any tips I can share on English Championship sides, I will do.
Teams to look out for this season should be Forest (Billy Davies in his first full season since returning), Watford again, Bolton should do better and went on a bit of run in the final 3 months or so last season. Of the relegated teams it's hard to predict. I reckon Reading will probably be strongest. With Leicester City, who knows!! Usually VERY strong at home but don't travel well.
Anyway, for today I've gone for Raith, Morton, Elgin, Falkirk. Straight 4 team accum.

The problem isn't Doncaster.
The problem is that we have 42 clubs run by incompetent twats from top to bottom.
Football isn't the wee cosy amateur clubset that it used to be where blazers could enjoy their wee bit of power behind closed doors but basically everyone in the game was looked after. The game was the most important thing and this was taken very seriously.
What happened next was devastating. TV money came along and threw a few sheckles our way. An undignified scramble took place with Rangers and Celtic barging their way through to take the lions share like two fat kids at a wedding scramble (remember those?).
What a professional sport needs is professional people running it but we're still being run by amateurs who have systematically and very publicly advertised over 20 years to every sponsor listening that our game is worthless. Then they act surprised when nobody wants to give us money.
Add in the shambles that was the forced capitulation of these same directors regarding the Rangers nonsense and you have to step back and ask whether it's worth the hassle. Do we really want to be thinking about Doncaster, Rangers, Hearts, Dunfermline, "improving the product" or any of that shit? Or do we just want to see some f**king football played well in a competitive exciting league where cheats are properly and quickly punished, where no club is too big to fail, where the entire structure of the league isn;'t organised for the benefit of just a handful of teams, with reasonable admission prices?
TV has ruined our game because the money it brings has turned 42 football club chairmen from good businessmen with profitable businesses into unthinking, seedy, money grabbing whores where every decision is ruled by money first, money second and money last, leaving our game a financial basketcase. I don't see how that will ever change.

I've always felt that if families break up it sets a trend for the children, although, as always, there are no rules.
