It's me

laugh.png Now that would have been classic.....The chaps referred to in the document are likely to be (at the risk of getting sued along with everybody else) Donald Muir - He is the chap that was placed on the scumgers BoD by Lloyds - and Ken Olverman, - he is the Financial Controller & the chap who told the HMRC that he knew nothing about the ticketus invoices - the ones he reckoned had been created using clipart. Pretty damning that they are mentioned in the emails in the contest of scumgers financial controller being bypassed until Johnson had been removed from the BoD.

My favourite bit of the programme about Rangers the other night, it wasn't the porn king, it wasn't the bit about Whyte being mates with the Prince of Monaco, it wasn't the bit about Murray trying it on with Lumley.

IT WAS THE START WHERE IT STARRED SHULL fixing up his taxi. Shull had quite a few parts. Not only did he open the show but he also closed it.

There was a good wee article in the DR this morning. It was about how the guys at Ayr have been pointed and laughed at for knocking back Murray's bid to take them over before he managed to con his way into scumgers despite already being up to his crutches in debt. It was a nasty sideswipe at Murray but was about vindicating the decision by.......and here's the funny bit:

The Ayr BoD at the time became known as "The Magnificent Seven". Was that what Yul Brynner was paying homage too with his alias?

Or this article http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/football/spl/rangers/2012/05/26/rangers-in-crisis-contract-shows-stefan-klos-paid-same-as-david-beckham-86908-23873943/

And it just me that thinks this 'A copy of Klos’s contract, obtained by Record Sport and which was lodged with the SPL, details his amazing renumeration package – but there is no mention on the document about an EBT.' breaks SFA rules about full payment details being shown on the contract that is lodged with the SFA.

On top of all this FIFA will probably get involved if the court action against the SFA continues as it's against their rules for a member club to take their national FA to a legal court, in the case of FC Sion they threatened to sanction the Swiss FA if they didn't take action against FC Sion who tried to get their transfer embargo overturned.

For those of you who have been enjoying the weather this weekend, a quick round up of some of the latest news and rumour.

There's a very strong rumour that there's worse news to come out of this saga. The rumours seem to point to a cosy relationship between the owner of a football club and their bankers and some of the events that happened in 1994.

Then there's an interview with Billy Dodds who has seemingly admitted receiving an EBT payment http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/i-refuse-to-believe-major-players-evaded-paying-millions-in-tax.17704904 .

'The full story is that David Murray came to me and asked if I would receive a payment that was due to me, after tax, through the EBT trust. And I said that I would. It was money that was owing to me when I had six months left on my contract and I moved to Dundee United. After the tax was deducted, that money was put in the trust fund.

This was a single payment made when I was leaving the club. I did not receive any payments through the trust fund at any other point of my Rangers career.'

Dodds said live on radio a few weeks ago that he never received payment through an EBT now he's admitting he did, but the main part is this looks to be a contractual payment and not a loan which EBT's are supposed to be used for http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-18169502

In 1994-95, Saints finished 7th in the 1st division which was won by Raith Rovers. Dundee Utd were bottom of the old style premier league which rongers won and sellick, under new owner Fergus McCann finished 4th and were beaten by Riath in the League Cup final. It was the year Davie Cooper died and premier league clubs were startting to make major improvements to their grounds.

and even more news http://lawtop20.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/civil-action-recipe-for-disaster.html

The interesting parts 'FIFA rules do not allow clubs to seek remedies before national courts and when clubs decide to seek such remedies before national courts, the national federations are obliged to impose sanctions. ' and

'Given the above submissions, the application submitted by Rangers may end up being successful. This does not, however, bring a conclusion to the matter. In my opinion, the Court may come to the conclusion that the SFA's disciplinary committee did in fact exceed its powers in that it applied a sanction that is not available in the SFA's regulations. In this case, it is highly likely that the Court would deem the committee's decision void. This is not, however, going to be a reason for celebrations. The Court of Session does not have jurisdiction to apply the correct sanctions, but only to decide on the appropriateness of a decision taken by a governing body. The Court, if it accepts the application filed by Rangers, would probably send the matter back to the disciplinary committee of the SFA, so the latter could apply the correct and appropriate sanctions. In the absence of the transfer embargo sanction, it is not difficult for an independent observer to appreciate what the remaining sanctions would be. In my view, they would not be simple fines.'

Never read the full article; however it appears that Charlie Adams time with us had a positive effect. He has hit the headlines saying that scumgers should accept whatever punishments they are given and just get on with it. He has also told them that they should focus on playing the talent they already have at their disposal instead of greeting about players they are not allowed to buy with money that they don't have / isn't theirs. clap.gif

D&P appear to be admitting that they have made a massive f"k up on appealing the SFA decision in the courts as they didn't know it was in breach of the rules. I couldn't believe even the possibilty of them considering it. Apparently they have already lodged papers in Edinburgh, which means they are now in breach and will now need to answer to FIFA. That was absolutely the last thing they should have done. Can't see the fans £500K "fighting fund" lasting very long at this rate. All the lawyers and accountants breenjing off this mess must be pishing themselves laughing at football.

It's quite remarkable that the Adminsitrators can instruct Solicitors to instruct Advocates (at a pretty penny per hour) to go to the Court of Session but none of them actually tell the Administrators "by the way, do you know if you do this you are breaching UEFA / FIFA regs". It's about time UEFA took control of this matter (if they have authority to do that) because the SPL, SFA and SFL are clueless in what rules apply / don't apply / to do / not to do.

Hopefully it will all end up with CAS sooner rather than later. The more information that gets put in front of them the better. Wouldn't it be great if a fans group like fans direct made a complaint to the Court of Arbitration for Sport about scumgers. I reckon we could still see Livingston put the SPL / SFA on trial there.

Dumb and Dumber, first obligation is too creditors not RFC, where does spending money on lawyers fees for this help out creditors.

Its about time the D&D were outed and are in fact working along with Mr Whyte he is still pulling the strings.

Facts he owns Ibrox

Facts he owns Murray Park

Facts he owns the players..................

So he does not want anything to happen, he wants them to go bust....

Reason he can then sell Ibrox, Murray Park and Players to ........??????

And make him some money.

Come on D&D tell us this was plan all along

Gets worse WDWB....the SPL Board have given scumgers a perion of grace for the presentation of information required for the investigation. Might put the dancing shoes away for a while yet.

In simple terms, its basically Rangers calling ALL their own shots !

Not to mention a quick meeting with Celtic for support before Wednesdays meeting.

Some of these bigot apologists will surely get serious stick when they visit Greenhill Road next Season.

Very spuroius detail of the CVA are starting to see the light of day. It looks like they haven't actually made a penny in the pound offer at all, but have made an offer based on if, mights and dunnos that pretty much leaves the creditors voting on a take "it or leave "it" basis without actually knowing what "it" is. Perhaps our resident administration expert reborn saint can shed some light on this shambles of a CVA?

June 15th deadline for Rangers to lodge their papers to decide if they can play next year.

June 15th deadline for 10000hrs plan to buy majority stake in SMFC.

Shaping up to be an interesting day.

I wouldn't bet against both dates slipping. whistling.gif

........

So... May one assume then that the player in question was given the sum due, after deduction tax but by making payment in this way, the employer avoided passing part of that money to the tax authorities? Looks awfully like that.
