Drew
No need for the porno courgette. When I stayed at Reidy's villa over in Spain with the family a few years back I took a photo of this cactus arrangement that was in his garden. I'm assuming an ironic counterpoint was intended.... buddiecat
I'll have you know that I'm a Corgi registered joiner! well you should have said, incidentally you need to upgrade your corgi registration to "gas safe joiner" corgi is now defunct, although i'm sure you don't need to be gas safe in your man shed - no women to complain about the whiff. Jocky
So, one of the potato tubs is ahead of the other and ready for lifting, which I duly did yesterday. Tub and crop below. Not the greatest and I think I probably over-watered the tub as the soil was pretty sodden when I was lifting them. Still one tub to go, so I'll ease off on the watering. The consolation is that some of the potatoes were boiled up for dinner last nigh and were really good. Small crop of peas from tub as well................don't think I'll be doing these again as you need to plant lots of them to make it worthwhile. Some general pics of greenhouse............... ........and the contents............ .....................and lastly some neeps.

My neighbour Crawford is on the lookout for good plumber too. He said "Somner what i need is a bloke who doesn't mind the dirty jobs, and is capable of really ramming his rod through my pipework until until everything flows" he's also got an eye out for a good joiner, anyone that can dovetail round the back of his shed will do. Crawford is a stickler for Health & Safety proceedures hence his elaborate gas mask below which he dons, and encourages his tradesmen to don when making a rear entry delivery whilst his flue is getting a pull through. Drew
Over the winter, I fitted the shed out with an electrical supply, but still on the lookout for a cheap beer fridge. Optics to be fitted soon, and a few other enhancements to make it more comfy. Garden remains a shambles....
