An enjoyable, competitive game tonight with all the new guy's being of a very good standard and raising the bar for everyone. A narrow win for the bibs in the end but both teams played really well.

A big thanks to Div for organising it from Dubia.

Gareth paid his outstanding fiver so that's another £15 in the kitty. Roll on the Inverness game on the 8th December!

Brilliant effort from everyone to keep this going.

This has been a great idea and can easily fall apart if people don't keep putting the work in to make it happen.

Still like some pics to see the out of breath would be Thommos but still an enjoyable thread. ;)

I thought that we (the bibs) had won by a good few goals in the end? It was quite a high scoring game which would be down to not having the specialists Div and Tam(?) in nets. Thought I did the absent Div proud during my stint in goals with a well-executed punt up the park that resulted in an assist.

Zo at the back for us held the defence together for the bibs and big Mark Logan (ringer) up front was like a battering ram, with big Fraser providing good support. The non-bibs played some really nice stuff at times and would've had Alan Hansen gushing about "one-touch passing" and "triangles" were it on MOTD. Big Ian Brown (yep, everyone appears big to me!) has a graceful elegance on the ball and some of the ringers matched that. However, the bibs defended deep and in numbers, and adopted a more direct style than their opponents which yielded a well-deserved victory. thumbup2.gif

The blocking of kick-ins tho' is unsportmanlike and should be swiftly eradicated from this beautiful game...

Another enjoyable game, but owing to working dahn sath, mate I will be out of next week's game, although I do have two weeks off in November... <bump> whistling.gif

Great match report. The bibs probably did end up winning by 5 or 6 but it was a fairly tight affair for most of the match.

Excellent to hear good report from last night ! Got Mark Logan adding himself to the squad now so it's all good!

Will get next weeks invites out on Saturday. Mark I will send you a teamer invite to get signed up.

Yep first we had the Cameron brothers? Then the Byrnes? Now the Logan's are getting in about it? :) Edited by Saintstef
