faraway saint
As the telly was on BBC Scotland accidentally caught The Scotts. Fecking hilarious. Looks like it was only a one off? Surely not, could be a classic. On the I Player for a wee while. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p07yhc18 Edited March 1, 2020 by faraway saint

Bud the Baker
Watched the opening episode of McDonald & Dodds last night, nothing startlingly original about the show - a chalk & cheese combination who gradually grow to respect each other. It was a Columbo style "Howcatehim" with a plot containing shades of King Lear. If you like your murder/mysteries light-hearted and blood free - you'll enjoy it. antrin
Aye... a VERY gentle murder mystery. Makes Midsomer look like Macbeth. Only a couple of episodes made, I think. On again next week... then waiting to see the reaction.
faraway saint
Expect the membership for Netflix and Amazon will soar in the next few weeks. People going to need something to watch when stuck in the house. I downloaded The Stranger the other night, as I hinted a wee while ago. Tonight, maybe even later this afternoon, could see me starting this.

I agree, the majority will see this as a pointless monthly expense. There's almost no area of society and business that this won't effect. On the plus side there are some business's that will cash in.
Tommy
Many customers of Sky Sports and BT will be tied into a contract normally lasting 12/18 months, and will have to argue that they are not getting what they have signed up for which was Live Sports, not repeats. Maybe need to recruit Dickson to argue my case against Sky
