Heaven 17 In Paisley

Best Song Heaven 17 wrote was for Tina Turner 'Private Dancer' a real tour de force song. They were not as commercial as say Human League with more edge and sophistication in their chords.

Penthouse and Pavements was quite cutting edge back in its day.

Loved that album.

By The Luxury Gap they were doing the nice pop synth stuff that others were doing... nice but not radically different.

Mark Knopfler was never in Heaven 17. Unless it happened while I was pished, that happened quite a lot back in the day......

Glenn Gregory produced a couple of albums as a group called Honeyroot.

I quite liked them.

Temptation was the track played after the "first dance" track at my wedding.

Straight into the "I've never been closer" line from the slow beat worked a treat.
