Comfy in the end but our defence were a lot more busier than I thought they would have been.

Aye, TBF they could have scored a goal or two which is a concern.

Gordon, on tonight's performance, looks better than Marshall, who could be living off the penalty heroics.

4-0 final score, decent, not startling, but acceptable performance.

Just wish we'd turned one of the previous two games into a win, that would have been very satisfactory.

No point in looking back, on we go to bigger and better things. :thumbs2

Petered out a bit at the end there so that's a bit disappointing.

4-0 is a decent win though so happy enough.

No idea how Austria managed to lose by such a heavy scoreline tonight. Don't expect us to be losing like that against Denmark when we match up to them in the autumn. Not even at their place. Really fancy us to take something off them both home and away.

Euros up next!

Are you at the wind up?

Considering you haven't watched them at all, maybe the 2 minute highlight video, that would make your prediction laughable, like most of your posts on football. 🤡

Ach it was ok. Much of it was very frustrating. We overplay far too much. If fitba was about making as many backwards passes in 90 minutes then we’d be world champions. Multiple subs aside we visibly stopped trying to get forward for pretty much all of the last 10 minutes.
Still, all that said, suppose can’t grumble too much about a 4-0 win.

Decent result. Reasonable performance. Wish they would cut the number of substitutes as the last half-hour of most games is ruined by the disruption of multi subs.

You’re right mate, it does, but there was also a visible lack of willingness to get forward at the end which was very frustrating.

It's a balance, if you keep lumping the ball, ala St Mirren ,you end up with nothing.

Most teams play possession football and most teams, not all get the results in the end.

We posted earlier that getting a decent result, and performance, would be great.

The results WAS decent, the performance was 50/50 with some concerns in defence for me.

McGinn................"the 2nd goal was right on the napper"

Nice partnership with him and Tierney, two class players.

Tierney, as I've posted on other threads, is a star IMO, he's grown throughout the season in an Arsenal team that are erratic.

They managed it by Denmark breaking fast against their very very slow defence
