It's never too late...

There's also cold's Influenza Meningitis, and many more infection's spread through schools which will interrupt a child's education, some can be very dangerous to children with compromised immune system's

I'm sure you know that

Are these things new and how much interruption do they cause.

More drama than I can handle for one day. 🙄

Why is it an absurd notion?  If you want to remove, or dilute, a contaminant in a poorly designed space then you need to increase the flow of air somehow.  Sdding a fan and trimming the doors is a method you can use.  It's not ideal but if filtration units are going to take a long while to be installed then it at least adds some protection in the meantime.

the proposal was to remove a very small margin from the bottom of the door, you couldn't do much more than a few millimetres otherwise you are tipping the balance on fire safety too far.

But don't let the truth get in the way of a chance to judge some experts who have been given a difficult job that has to start NOW

They could even incorporate it in to the school curriculum Woodwork pupils could cut the bottom of the doors as part of their O Level exam Of course if they decided to cut the top of the door it would need to be Higher pupils………….

Having spoken to a old soldier many years ago who spent time in a prison of war camp his stories and his hatred of the Japanese I can understand that complaint to a certain degree it will be still fresh with some family's how their parents were treated,  You would hope these days that doesn't happen anymore but sadly it still does.

Then you have the hypocrisy of others

The statement from the pub people should move on it happened 80 years ago when both sides of the old firm fans sing and play tunes about things going back much longer,

And this flag 🇬🇧  it's responsible for a lot more than most over the last 300 years

This is my Flag and I fly it with pride

Co2  levels were found to be too high in over 2000 classroom's, also improving airflow would help to stop covid and other infections spreading in classroom's

How many of those class rooms had too many pupils in them

Reduce class room sizes = Reduction in Covid. Sort the class room size policy.

Altering a fire door could nullify its integrity and certification. The gap under the door can vary from 3-8mm depending on the type of door it is.

The removing 1mm extra off a door will only increase the ventilation space by 0.0009m3. This is negligible and difficult to control.

It would be easier leave the door ajar and allow the aroma of the damp crowded CO2 filled corridor to migrate in to the class room to save the children.

Why did the EXPERTS not suggest drilling holes in the class room walls to assist in getting the required air changes
