St Mirren v Kilmarnock SPFL PREMIERSHIP 22/4/23

We got over the line...just.

Kilmarnock played like a team really fighting for their Premiership status.  I like to think I'm a fairly positive person but I often fall into the trap of thinking "Here we go, up against a team who need a win" and it looked like that fairly early on.  I'm not sure any of us would have been surprised if we had "St. Mirren-ed" it but results elsewhere went our way and our players deserve to make the "Top Six" for their efforts over the season.

It's a little disappointing we didn't win today but the overall target has been achieved.  Now to see how far up the table we can achieve.

Poor paranoid deluded fool!

Unfortunately my team making the "Top Six" means they'll have to play your "boys in blue" again.  Your team are up at Aberdeen tomorrow are they not?

Oh give it a rest..  have a drink .. or are you working tonight ?

And another of the "merry men" turns up to come to Faraway's rescue!  All we need now is for Cowardly Cockles1987 and Slartibartfast to appear and I'll have bagged the whole collection!

I was commenting on the nature of the posts not particularly yours but hey whatever makes you happy.

That was the worst by some distance for a long long time.

I'd agree.

The first game through in Perth, a 3-0 defeat was abysmal, as was the game in Edinburgh, against Hibs same score.

They're, although both away from home, the other real pish poor results and performances this season IMO.

Well, @W6er, you were right, I was wrong, a real disappointing performance on a day when so many expected so much.

I was there. The performance was disappointing, indeed. We were terrible, and once we went down to ten men that was the game finished.

However, we're in the top six, and hopefully this is just a blip.

I thought we were poor all over the park , could have done with a bit of pace against their defence instead of two quite slow strikers.

Today showed we really need a striker ... other top 3 contenders have ... i am sure its on SRs wishlist... we need to beat Hibs and Hearts in split to get us into Europe.  And how many of us would have said that in August... its a great season so far...
