    9. St.Mirren For Sale

      The majority shareholding in the club was up for sale for 7 years! Eventually the shareholding was purchased by Gordon Scott and SMiSA in July 2016 with almost 1300 supporters contributing to the successful bid.

      This forum is now really just an archive of some of the threads that took place in that 7 year period.  ps; Anyone mentions the Argies they get banned.

      Roll on 7:45, get an early goal and get this game out of the way.  I've a dislike of Airdrie as they've cost Arbroath quite a few bob by knocking them out of two cups and taking 5 points from 6 in the league.  Let's stuff them. 👍 Airdrie 0-3 Saints.

Ethane will now be burnt as fuel in the national grid gas mix instead of being made into valuable plastics or it could have been converted to Ethanol to green-up petrol to a 15% standard, which most petrol engines can currently burn without adaptation, had the UK taken the easy step of declaring that we could move away from E10 to E15. A really hard blow for the Fife economy and a matter of shame for Labour, who were more than happy to invest in a near-dead English steel industry just to buy votes in reformland. I worked their for 3 1/2 years and it was an excellent provider of extremely ell-paid jobs.  For many years workers would desert Grangemouth to up their prospects at Mossmorran.  While I didn't necessarily enjoy, or even like, working there I have to acknowledge that i got a grounding there that saw me through the next 33 years of continuous employment and a move from the tools to a professional career.  The place was built largely by public money and RBS investment that was paid back via taxes on the fantastic incomes earned there and the hundreds, possibly thousands of jobs & businesses that it fed. For God's sake, even Thatcher's mob saw the potential &  the effect of the place.  Please Scotland, remember where Labour & Reform's loyalty lies and vote your way back to an independent & prosperous future rather than the slow death we are experiencing as part of the UK.
