Firstly best of luck Kenny and thanks for the effort and some fine performances. I am sure that now you have gone to a team challenging at the top you will get some deserved Scotland call ups.
Secondly BOD shame on you for letting a talent go for such a small sum, I just hope (but doubt) that you have a percentage of next sale clause in his contract.
Although part of me thinks f**k the BOD any way as if we did get any more I am sure that the money would not have found its way to developing the squad any way.
I will always be grateful for all the hard work that Gilmour and Co have done in saving the club however I really dont like how they seem to have just given up now and it feels since Danny Lennon left that there isn't any real mention of the fans or community.

If we're in severe financial trouble, why has this been allowed to happen? The board were given a clean slate little over 5 years ago and every single year, tell us that we are technically debt free and only operating at a small loss.
If they have allowed us to be in this situation again, then they have undone every single bit of good they ever done for the club and sold our spiritual home for a soulless shell into the bargain.

Two games in two years. Lost the will to watch this team long ago.
When we give away our best players for peanuts it tells me that it is going to be a long, long time before I'm back.
This BoD has managed to undo years of good work in one idiotic season.
    Utterly depressing.

It is no exaggeration to say that this is a devastating blow in football terms. The timing is woeful. It'll take nothing short of a miracle to keep us up now.
    I'm absolutely gutted.

Disappointing if this goes through, strange one, yip Aberdeen much bigger club than us but Kenny could do much better. His silky skills could struggle on there shit pitch.
Anyway he doesn't owe us anything, great player for us and I'd wish him all the best

Hard to believe it is 31 games since our last clean sheet. Even more amazed that the figure has not been trotted out on a weekly basis by the doomsday soothsayers on this forum.
Enough negativity though. Great defensive team performance tonight. Not a player was lacking defensively and the effort was there to see all over the park.
Not a classic performance but 3 very valuable points which will hopefully bolster confidence particularly in the defence. The back 4 in particular were immense, with Cheesy and Goodwin being the stand out players.
Thommo's takle on our right wing in the first half epitomised the team spirt and fantastic to have him back.
McGinn had another off par game but the guy never hid for a second, constantly wanting on the ball.
Hopefully we can all get behind the team in the same way next game and get our first home win this season.
Oh and the best bit from a crowd perspective...COYS when...defending...the corner right at the end of the match, that is how to back the team!
    ETA
and I forgot to mention McLean's forward runs. It will be amazing to have McGinn back on top form with McLean at his best also.

McGinn's poor form is being exaggerated or highlighted possibly more apt by his refusal to hide. That is a great quality in any player but is a hindrance when going through a sticky patch. He will come through it just like McLean has and think how much better again we will be when he does hopefully just in time for a vital run in.

One point worth mentioning - our corners have improved no end since Mallen started taking them. Goal came from another cracking cross at pace right into the box.

Magic result!!! Quality of football wasn't great, but the team performance was. Nerves were shredded, but Gary has the team fighting with a togetherness. Hats off to him!!

Great result and effort from the team - especially Cheesy and Goody.
Now that we have given ourselves the chance of avoiding relegation, it is important that the fans play their part in encouraging the team at home matches. This would mean for instance giving John McGinn the room to shake off his current run of bad form. He is no different from any other player who goes through a bad patch. He is too good a player to succumb to lack of confidence but he is still just a young lad. So our encouragement is essential to him and the other up and coming players emerging from the development team when they hit that inevitable run of bad form.
When this squad produce what they are capable of, we will be competing in the top half of the league next season and will be playing with style, unlike tonight.

What a tremendous result, and finally the clean sheet too. Delighted. We've only got 18 points this season, and 6 of them have been at Firhill. Can we make that our new home ground?
Oh, the game, terrible. First half the same as the second, us playing rubbish and Thistle playing worse. We played better against Dundee last week and lost.
The big plus was our defence, they were excellent. Our best player was Mark McAusland and our second best player was Jim Goodwin. Our midfield really did them no favours at all but they were superb all evening.
Fifteen day break for us now and we go into it on a high. All Saints fans would have taken 7 points from the last 4 and we have got that, not in the expected order certainly but a good return. Come on!

He's made some cracking saves last few weeks, particularly the Ross County and Dundee Utd games. Wouln't say any of the goals we've lost the last few games were particularly his fault either.

    I don't!
Why waste Mallan in a holding role when we can see how effective he is going forward.
We wasted McLean there... let's not make the same mistake again.
McGinn and Osborne are a better partnership to hold the fort, protect the defence and let Mallan, Dayton and McLean run amok.

Congratulations to Gary And David - I hope it works out for them - and St Mirren.
However, it would be good if they could acknowledge our weaknesses in defence by bringing in at least 2 defenders before the end of the transfer window.
The Arquin and Dayton acquisitions have addressed to some extent the deficiencies up front but we still need to plug the gaping hole in our defence.

I'm liking the way we have lulled Partick Thistle into a false sense of security by not announcing the signing of our season-saving centre half until the day of the game. The Jags are going to turn up geared to face the same old pants St Mirren defence and won't know what hit them.

For those non-ST fans amongst you who might be feeling discriminated against at Firhill and don't have BT Sport you might want to try live streaming of the game at:-
