Never understand why some fans think this is the right mentality? Hearts have jumped Rangers twice, Killie, Hamilton beat them too. Livi nearly did celtic midweek.
And our manager tells us it's over before a ball is kicked...!
How the hell is a 5-0 pumping a good thing, and how does it help the team for the six pointer against Hearts?

Incredible to think a team so devoid of fight and with a very thin squad opted to sell Paul McGinn

If the BBC stats are right, our 1st foul in the game was at 60 mins.
We committed 5 fouls in the whole game.
Assuming we were so bad that we couldnt even get close enought to them to foul them.
Goodwin saying that Celtic are so far ahead of everybody else in the league must have came a shock to Livvy since they were so close to pumping them again this season 3 days ago.

We must try and Beat hearts not draw with them. Biggest problem with the manager is he sets up to draw every match. He us so negative it I'd embarrassng.

I can only speak for myself and i'm not really in full meltdown mode (yet).
I don't think most of the reaction is to this result in isolation. I think it's carried over from Wednesday night in particular and also the previous 10 or so games. Hearts and Hamilton are picking up the odd win now even against the OF which isn't obviously ideal.
Personally I think the writing has been on the wall for much of the season with our flaws and we are now very much teetering on the brink of a half decent league finish and disaster. Wednesday is massive.

If you go on to a pitch thinking you will be beaten, you most defo will be.
Successive Saints managers have had this shite bag mentality.
He's a suggestion for, Goodwin: next time we play Rangers or Celtic; simple team talk: let's get stuck in to these cunts.

Tony Fitzpatrick could take over for the rest of the season, he is always banging on about us being a top four team. He can help realise that dream in the championship

Actually I do like Mullen, he is an out and out tryer, always puts in a shift. But he simply isnt a striker, he never holds the ball up.That's why Obika has been so important for us, and why Danny is bench warming at best.
Danny runs till he loses it, Obika is a handful for any defender, holds it up, and gets in the box to finish.

Yeah... we go for goal difference... whereas Hearts and now Hamilton have got three points off one half of the OF...
Maybe goal difference will be like Tesco clubcard points, or Co-OP divi stamps? Save up seventy squillion and you've got enough for table lighter.

I said 40 points should see us clear of the play off spot. Was slightly concerned Jim mentioned we are only 6 points worse off than our points total at the end of last season. Last season Dundee amassed a grand total of 21 points all season - this season's 12th placed team have already surpassed 21 points with 10 games left to play! Plus last season was utterly grim until the January signings found their feet and started getting results. We stayed up after a penalty shoot out in a play off after getting 32 points last season.

The problem highlighted there is we don't play Hamilton again before the split, which means we cant affect them to our advantage.
Like I said we will need one or two clubs with nowt to play for to do it a favour.

One team usually caves in the split, unable to avoid the inevitable. Come the weekend results we may have a better idea which two teams that is between.

In recent games we have been starting with ONE academy product Scottish national.
    With one scottish loanee
And one or two Scots on the bench...
Is this our reality now? Is the mini conveyor belt of young talent, developed and sold on u/s..?
How do Livi manage to punch above their weight with a lot more Scots in their team?
Are we resigned to sifting the flotsam & jetsam of lower league footballers across Europe, hoping to unearth a relative pearl every now and then?
