We were around 1,700 fans down in Saturday. There are a few reasons for this;

Saturday’s game was a relegation battle.
Fans displaced from their normal seat.
Playing Celtic and people expecting us to get hosed.
Playing Celtic and people not wanting to expose themselves to their fans.
Game was on the telly.
Game was midweek, which always impacts the crowd.

They all impact the home crowd and three of them would do so against any other opposition too so the extra cash is definitely welcome.

GLS is running a business and cash flow is vitally important so any income streams have to be maximised. I understand this is an emotive issue but the only way to fix it, IMO, is to fill it (at least 75%) with season tickets.

wee dreyer did well on saturday,mopping up loose balls, making game-changing interventions and generally being available for the ball.

Don’t know about that. His face looked like it was about to combust at the end of the game.

It sounds like he’s not your type of player, which is fine. Yesterday was his best game for us and he had an impact on the result. Aside from that I watched him track back repeatedly and put more than a few challenges in. He’s no Jim Goodwin though.

Last time I looked, Dreyer was signed by a premiership team, and Mallan by a championship team that was relegated and he failed to prosper there.
I'm not for one minute suggesting that Dreyer  is currently better than Mallan, but Brighton seem to know who has the potential to be the Porsche in comparison to a Sunbeam.
Only time will tell I suppose.

However, to suggest his header that set up Lyon's goal was ordinary, underestimates its quality IMO.

I thought he showed a fair amount of composure in his role in the first goal as well after his initial shot was blocked.

I get the criticism of Dreyer but think it's well OTT.
Granted, he's not imposed himself in games but provided two big contributions to two goals yesterday and due to a very good block, was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet.
There's definitely potential there and I reckon he'll be a key contributor in the last 7 games.

A pass is a pass,  whether he played him in or he shifted the ball to him he still played a part in the first goal and deserves a wee bit of credit for it. 
I'd agree though if it's a toss up between him and McAllister starting games then Kyle should be first pick. 
 

Hopefully Celtic win today and have a giant f**king party! Them showing up hungover should make it more of an even match.
Muzek, Dreyer and Lyons on to the bench I reckon. Maybe Anton in for Baird too.

In his post-match interview Kearney took time to draw attention to Dreyer's contribution today and hinted he has yet to show on a matchday what he does regularly at the training ground. He said he can be frustrating at times but did what he was asked to do defensively and going forward. There is more to come from Dreyer.
