I agree with you but when you look at the players that Stubbs has recruited across the board not one of them could lace Smith's boots. We should have definitely been putting Smiths place under preassure this season along with McGinn etc but the recruitment has been so bad that Smith and McGin etc need to start every week

it's all much the same cost wise.. Keep him and it's my opinion that we'll get relegated and lose money and also have to watch our team being shit all season. Get rid and it's taking a chance, granted, but it's one we need to take in my opinion. I'm not wishing him to fail but my instincts are telling me he's not up to it.

Big reality check for many St Mirren fans today about Alan Stubbs ability as a football manager.
To appoint this guy before Jim McIntrye and Billy Dodds as coaches was as bad a decision as the SMFC board could have made. 
His signings from start to finish are also as bad as it gets.
Alan Stubbs is a decent individual and was a tremendous player but he is never a football manager and if we are to have any chance of staying in this league we need rid of him. It won't happen though till minimum October

What does Gordon Scott think when Stubbs tells a guy as good as Cammy Smith to find a new club surley that tells him Stubbs has not got a clue what he's doing. 

We need about 5 EXPERIENCED players in this week. I feel sorry for the loanees flung in at the deep end. Whether we sign anyone is anybody’s guess but a blind man can see the problems. A strong commanding centre half, a central midfielder, a winger and at least one experienced striker required

Question- Did Stubbs actually go and watch all his signings from down south in action and what homework did he do.We are a development club who should be signing experienced pros to play alongside our home grown talent not filling our squad with young inexperienced loanees.We had a good squad last season better than Livi and really should have been looking to add say five or six quality signings.Christ even Livi managed it on a much lesser budget adding the likes of Lawless etc.Taxi for Stubbs I am afraid.

Totally out his depth and his lack of Scottish knowledge is frightening. Never gave G Mac a look in yet better than all 3 central defenders he has signed. Had the current Scottish U21 full back on loan so presumably had first dubs, chose not to sign him and his two replacements are nit a patch on Smith. The central defenders are a joke and the players left from last season look to have had the heart ripped out them. A total cluster f**k.

Scott said at the end of 16/17 that we were a premiership club , and we need to get back there. If he truly believes that , then he already must know he's made a boo boo of horrendous proportions , and he needs to take action quick. You could see today that some players just weren't playing for Stubbs.

If he goes he’s leaving a team of hopeless players. A new manager has no chance 

It wasn't the fact we lost a football match I don't think there were many who thought we would win or even draw it was the manner of which we lost we are shockingly bad right now and I personally dont see that changing any time soon.
