madball got a reaction from turrabuddie in Dundee Utd v St. Mirren / St. Mirren v Dundee Utd, 23rd May / 26th May
I was thinking starting Cooke might be risky, but actually in hindsight it might make sense as high balls to Mullen or Jackson are likely to come back pretty quickly. If Lyons not fit then maybe Magennis sitting behind Cooke would work, bringing Hodson in

madball got a reaction from E=Mc2 in Jim Goodwin
If Oran had intimated to the board that he was on his way regardless then there would have been not just mutterings from NI, but from leaks from clubs here as we would've been reaching out to Alloa etc about permission to speak to Goodwin and other coaches. The fact that there is only noise from random twitter accounts in NI pours scorn on the rumours.

madball got a reaction from St.Ricky in Stewards today?
It is when 2 different stewards are giving out different advice. Steward in the block behind the goals was trying to direct people, stewards either sides were telling people from very early on to sit anywhere. So the issue is not fan driven, but stewarding driven.

The thing is it could be any area of the ground as the touchline mics pick up a lot of the things being said/shouted. I used to have my telly connected through a home cinema app and it was funny hearing the swearing coming through the surround speakers behind me, not particularly loudly, but creepy when there was a lull in the game punctuated by a "you're a prick" or similar coming from over your shoulder and there's no-one else in house

Watched the highlights back and the challenge on GMac looked like it had intent behind it. Hope he's OK. Their 99 not watching the ball, runs at the player and then twists shoulder at last moment to make contact (could've easily twisted the other way and avoided or not jumped). Anyone know the process for citing to compliance officer?

No, not at all. I was hoping it would turn out to be wrong like the spitting story, but know that we have idiots in our support who would shout this sort of stuff. I've heard about another incident yesterday that went unreported in W2 so whilst I'm pleased this one was dealt with we've more to do

madball reacted to Dibbles old paperboy in St Mirren v Hamilton Mon 13th May
He had no need to even make a challenge as everyone in the ground could see MacKenzie was going to win the race to the header by miles. Collum allowed a lot of challenges to continue after the ball was away without warning or booking players - that was the most obvious example. There had been a few other niggly challenges between the two of them in the first 30 minutes. I think MacKenzie had his eye on the ball and wasn't aware of the late challenge coming but no excuse for Ogboe

If true then as crap as it is that someone being racist (and no surprise that there are some idiots out there in our support and wider) it is pleasing that fans dealt with it and reported it as no place for it in our support
